@paradoxic1888 I'm sure there'll be a reshape LUT setup that will make this look amazing. I just haven't found one I liked for more than a few moments under specific conditions. Either way, there's really no wrong answer to this because it's all based on what you personally like. This has been another random rant brought to you by four cups of coffee and almost no sleep.

@@jasonforsyth5015 I feel you, which is why I'm creating my own preset. Have been tweaking for hours to get something I like but for some reason depth of field and dehaze bugs out when in close corridors. Only when enabling noise is it stable, which ruins the look I'm going for. It's a shame because when it doesn't bug out it looks insane.

@@paradoxic1888 I took your input and tested it out with EDGE lut and Ultimate Natural Graphics and I'm uploading the video of the gameplay now. About half is with Light DOF, the Other is with Harsher DOF, all gameplay was with Motion Blur and film grain on. It doesn't look bad... Anyway, I appreciate the feedback.

@@jasonforsyth5015 If you are using Reshade, turn on Lumasharpen and set it to 36, 0.035, 0.035. Also turn on Contrast Sharpening and tweak it as you see fit. Put it before the DOF setting. Turn off film grain if the DOF doesn't tweak out. I can share my preset with you as there are other effects too but those are the important ones. Anyway looking forward to seeing how it looks with no limits.

I got into it through a Fallout 4 mod that replaced the classical music station with lazerhawk. Any time I did a fallout 4 build, it was one of my top 5 mods.

However ED is based out of switzerland and Razbam is South American, so what could US politicians really do about it anyway? The other thing is, I paid for it, I'm going to use it. But I agree that unfinished games, pardon me, I mean Early Access is a new type of snake oil. One one hand, we have Razbam stopping development because they aren't getting paid, on the other hand, none of the other 3rd party developers are having a meltdown and strike. The Radar issue with Razbams F-15E comes down to a date check in one of the DLL files. I'm not sure which one, but it looks like it was intentionally put there to make it stop working. There's a modder who created a fix for this and I've been using it since I discovered it. @@jasonforsyth5015 its nothing to do with politics, its consumer protection, which used to be really good in the 90s and early 2000s. the corporations have captured the regulatory agencies and the consumer is suffering. in the 90s if you wanted a refund, you got a refund from most places that wanted to stay in business. these days most companies will screw you both in product quality and take the money/run!

No the radar and TFR are INOP. As for Money, that's out of my hands. I'm just trying to make the best of a bad situation.

@@opbrBlitZz yep, done everything, all ncpd activities, all gigs from all fixers, all cyberpsychosis activities, all tarrot cards, all side jobs, all main missions including phantom liberty. got two characters, one is melee katana, another one is netrunner. both can do combat as well as stealth. it gets boring after around 500 hours into it.

Only with mods. I've got a 74 Lamborghini countache installed too, bit this handles better

Very much so. There's still a bit of jank, but none of it is anywhere near gamebreaking. Update 2.0 did a lot to solidify the game, my only gripe is that blade builds feel like they were nerfed into the floor. Only something available in the lategame now.

Thanks, nothing else other than edge LUT. I did readjust the gamma correction in the video settings. That's really it.

I find with the super realistic looking shader mods out there, the more real it looks, the more the characters look like dolls. But then again, it's cyberpunk where they pay to have robotic parts and skin installed.

Yep. I did a steam verify afterwards and found that I was missing 4 files, they were re-acquired and I haven't had an issue since.

No no, this doesn't look like this in VR, this is just a screen recording of the app. IN VR, every jet looks like a black spec until I get close, DLSS is creating ghosting, not to mention I'm getting a lot of lag in multi player servers since the 2.9 update, but ED is apparently looking into that. But I have the sliders maxed out, screen set to 1920x1080p, Nvidias upscaling tech does the rest for video generation which is why it looks much better here.

@@amysteriousviewer3772 It being CDPR's "first game of this type" does not exempt it from the criticism of their ineptitude, especially with how hard they went into the marketing, when half of that money could have gone into development of the game instead.
