It's much easier to straddle the boat rather than put pressure on your paddles like that.

I don’t think so. It may look like he is because they’re rolling without a spraydeck so the final hip-flick is difficult due to the water in the boat :)
Never tried to roll a canoe as I haven't paddled one in 50 years. The others, easy!

What's the deal with those plywood couches? Not gonna pack those anywhere, but would be pretty spiff for a basecamp.
What brand of clothing are you wearing and they are all waterproof...including shoes?
Yes, he is in a drysuit which will be from head to toes. I believe he is in an NRS in this particular video. Thanks for watching!
