Переглядів 17112 годин тому
I’m about to dive into one of the most significant records from the West Coast-BG Knockout and Gangsta Dresta’s "Real Brothas" album. From start to finish, it’s a true Ruthless classic with fire production by Rhythm D, Doctor Jam, and Madness 4 Real. Now, don’t get it twisted; this is a Def Jam release, but it dropped shortly after Eazy-E passed away. In this video, I’m revisiting this dope alb...

50 CENT (Before I Self-Destruct) 2009 - Tha Revisit
This type of sh1t happen every day.✌️
Memories of the end of senior year in high school, 2002, blasting Compton & Watts, when I first started driving and was allowed to take my mom's car sometimes.
Ohh, it's interesting that you don't care much for Micc Checc. I think that's the one that really sold me the album when I first listened to preview clips back in the day. I love the story telling, I love the voice overs in the end of each verses. Go back to the track, I implore, and pay attention to the bass that comes in during the hook, and the high pitched sine waves. Actually really really good G-Funk production in my opinion, rivaling the production on Above the Law's "Uncle Sam's Curse" - which also had a few strong, slower tempo G-Funk tracks. Production from the Danish duo Madness 4 Real, who did a bunch of stuff for Eazy and MC Ren in their post NWA careers.
I heard of B.G. Knocc Out for the first time on Flesh-n-Bone's solo album T.H.U.G.S. as he was on the song Comin' 2 Serve U, which incidentally uses the same instrumental that we would later hear as the unreleased Bone Thugs and Eazy-E cut Sleepwalkers. I was just slightly too young to remember Real Muthaphukkin G'z, but I would end up getting into Eazy-E about 3 years or so after his death because of being obsessed with Bone. This eventually led me to B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta through the tracks on It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa and a few cuts on Str8 Off the Streetz of Muthaphuckkin Compton. This would have been around 98 to 99 or so. I still remember being blown by the preview clips of tracks like Micc Checc, Do or Die, and Down Goes Another Nigga on one of the early online CD retailers, and had this album in wish list immediately. The album was still being sold in CD stores on the East Coast up until the early 2000's as I eventually bought my copy of the CD, which I still have, from the store. It's such an amazing album, but I think it came out too late in the west coast G-funk era, as it was already starting to wane, and I think they didn't have as much marketability without Eazy-E's guidance. So unfortunate, as this album is so much better than others that came out in the same year.
You guys are IDIOTS - big syke wasn't in dramacydal you fools 😂 way to make a 40 minute video but expose yourself as clueless in the first 3
Liked Ice cube album more than Snoops 🔥🔥
50 cent before I self destruct vs 808s and heartbreak what album of the two wins in terms of overall musical quality this is a poll vote anyone who wants to vote thank you
50 cent vs Kanye West album rematch poll
First off how are you today? Second of all I do want to say this on race against Time part two Ja Rule does this 50 Cent when he said you claim your style is gorilla so I would define the meaning of murder is killer.
Scarface best album
Mediocre song,nothing special.
You have Hiss up there, but so have “Big foot” 🥴bye
Bom álbum 🔥🔥💯🇦🇴
This was the first Hip Hop album I bought back in 1993.
Hell ya nice
That Ren "Final Frontier" video is classic!
His beats are Philly type drill beats mixed with New Orleans beats from the late 90s
DJ Bandz produced some of his songs
I would called it Silkk Flow not really mumbled I can understand him he’s just a lil of head of the beat
He’s from Chicago
🔥🔥🔥🔥 he just started rapping he’s Lil Durk artist and yeah he’s young he has a lot of potential
on mad scientist the throw back "Ren is in control" isn't from May Day, it's from all bull shit aside
You’re right. “Here we go again scaring people to death” is where I was getting mixed up. I stand corrected!
I was the same way with ebony wood stock i didnt fuck with it till one day driving to work it played and I've been bumping it since
Last Temptation sucks ass
One of my favorite records growing up
That album is funky as hell and when I found out that it is on streaming I was hyped as hell It didn't disappoint at all. Sick album
27:06 🤣
I feel like people would've listened to this album in a different way if they knew about Son from ENY who shot 50. Ja gave him a shout out at Clap back but it went over most people's heads.
Nice haha
U should do a review on mr doctor Setripn bloccstyle💯🫱🏻🫲🏼
React to Chuckyy - Blood Bath Vol.1 ( his flows reminds me of Silkk
Aight bet. I’m gonna check it out.
Underrated af That album is one of the most unique ever because that broken voice with those beautiful instruments and that superb story writing built something non-comparable Excellent track & album
My fave from this album is "Sky's The Limit" (FUCKING BEAUTIFUL SONG) and "Notorious Thugs" Fantastic double album
Hands down dope ass album !! Still mobbin to this in 2024"
No one has made an album Like Ja Rule's Blood in my eye album, and no one would ever make it ever again.
Ja Rule Blood in my Eye was a masterpiece. Ja Rule and Hussein Fatal declared war on entire shady/aftermath with classic gangster Rhymes, which they backed up with real street Violence. 50 never made another diss track after Rules Blood in my eye shut him up. No body ever dare diss Ja Rule ever again soon as this album dropped. Eminem threw a white towel surrendered with a song he called Toy Soldier 😊😊😊
Haha word
Slim Shady threw in the towel after Murda inc jumped Proof he wanted no smoke
People say this is his worst work. Honestly it's my favorite album of him😂
Its his best
Legend Montclair New Jerz Giant Rip
That cad tah track was a dual release and was also on ja rule blood in my eye
Good lookin out
If fatal didnt get locked up in 98 he would have had like a ja rule type run an been more prevalent in that era but it is what it is. My take, just an opinion
He had commercial potential for sure.
He had the worse luck ever. Almost hooked up with biggie smalls before he blew up due to a mutual friend. Should have blown up with pac but he died. Should have blown up on Relativty records but they went bankrupt. Should have signed to Murder inc and blown up but they were getting raided by the Feds. So sad he was getting his life in order before he died
Retribuition and fatal is on it and it was released by the outlawz on their label after nobel aquired the purchasing rights off deathrow. It was sold in a kinda mixtape exclusively through the outlawz
Line of fire a Classic got most slept on in the source mag ur crazy
Miss this guy... RIP FATAL DAWG NJ
Be nice if someoneone could get at J Prince and get him to release the rap a lot tracks when fatal was on there it was said he had over 40 studio tracks and they barely released 14. I'd love to hear that, he was primed at the tyme an his lyrics flow and delivery was at his peak.. GET THAT RELEASED
With some dope production yea. Would be dope!
Fatal an felony was after that and never got a real shot after pac passed cause of kadafis murder
Dramacydal was Kadafi, EDI, KASTRO, AND NAPOLEON
This was when he was 25c
The too short verse was left out
I wonder if there is a version with him back in it anywhere
West side 4 life ❤
Outlaw Immortalz: Fatal-N-Felony (Hussein & Kadafi) Dramacydal (E.D.I, Kastro & Napoleon) Thug Life (Mussolini & Komani) Storm (Female Outlaw) Young Noble (Last Official Outlaw)
