My eye pieces are fucked. I found my microscope in an abandoned lab. 4 and 10x zoom is fine but when I try 40 and 100 there’s these horrible smudges that turn with the eye piece. Pls help. I am retard

Hello, would you happen to know; is the only difference between these flip tops and the polarizing condensers are the rotatable linear polarizers attached below the iris? Or are there other critical differences between these condensers?

What is the function of the U-POC 2 flip out polarizing condenser? Does it simply contain the polarizing lens you placed over the lamp lens?

Hi can i know how to open or fix a loose X knob? The X knob works fine on clockwise movement but it need extra turns counter clockwise, otherwise the specimen holder wont move normally as the clockwise. Please help

I just bought an e400 fluoresence microscope with the illuminator and the lamp halogen bulb on the back works but it starts to flicker and the brightness begins to fluctuate. Does the bulb need to be replace or do you know what could the the reason for this?

Hi, thank you for the great content. I have a Olympus Cx41 model. Im trying to adjust koehler illumination but condenser doesnt center whatever i do. I tried to adjust two secrews in almost every combination but it doesnt center. What else can i try to center the condenser light? Thank you for advance🙏

ooops, our microscope turret is completely enclosed so there is no direct access to the cubes. I am afraid to unscrew any screws. EDIT. Figured it out - the little lid in that turret was held magnetically.
