Lita can play. I saw her a bunch of times in the 80s, when she was running her band to showcase herself … Robbie Donati, her guitarist, got to do very little lead playing. It was all about her and she could play. Her playing on *_Out for Blood_* is still some of my favorite stuff … very raw

I always thought that she was a good guitarist. Bt like some people commented, she never claimed to be a "guitar great" of anything like that. And...she loves to ROCK! Nothing wrong with that! How about doing something about Buch Dharma from BOC?

Eddie also tuned the 2-4 strings so that they sounded good as a chord. This means the B string was a little flat. Try it, sounds good

Uh, she was intimate friends with Blackmore and engaged to Iommi. She knew how to play, but I'm sure she picked up a thing or two.

All the great rock guitarists from the 70s including as you say TI, had their own distinctive sound and played lead to serve the song at least in the studio. I never liked shredding as it often seemed to be there to disguise a not particularly great song!

Keep in mind Ace was not using any processors or compressors so its going to sound raw and dry ,, Ace is all about being authentic and raw , with no enhancements .

My uncle worked with Lita Ford in the studio back in the 1980s. I have no idea what he thought of her playing, but he said good things about her as a person.

Sloppy, yes, but what is most important at the end of the day. Put it this way... I can only dream of earning half as much has he has with his guitar playing. It did the job and it earnt the money!

He obviously a lot worse now than he was back in the 70's. Back then he was cool sloppy and he sounded great. Kulick and Vinnie Vincent was miles ahead technically, of course. But what use is that when it does sound good?

She was and is still nothing without Roger Fisher, he was the real guitarist behind all the tunes on those first 4 albums along with Howard Leese. Nancy wasn’t even needed in the band and to prove my point, after Roger left or they fired him, whichever story you wish to believe, Nancy has never presented another piece of music that even remotely came close to what she played from the first 4 albums. Even when she did the instructional video she screwed that all up because she didn’t know the parts, it was all Roger.

That sucked but then again, I always knew he sucked. How anyone claims he’s a great guitarist is completely out of their minds.

He is such a damn good guitarist just hearing him play a few cords you know it's him. He belongs to a short list of GUITAR players like Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix and a few others.

Oh yeah Lita is the real deal she's an old school bad B with the chops to back up her look. She's a shredder for sure. Loved this woman since the Runaways.

He’s no different than the rest of KISS. Average musicians who hit it big for whatever reason. He’s not even in the top few hundred guitarists of all time.

Ace was a lot better back in the day. A little more precise and less sloppy even if was a little simple. He's definitely lost a little bit in his old age but we all will. It's part of life.

There was a descending run she did twice towards the end of her jam that sounded pretty much exactly like Highway Star. I point this out because in her early years with the Runaways she met and became "friends" with Ritchie Blackmore. She mentioned once in an interview back in the 80s that Blackmore taught her the snake charmer scale (which I'm sure has a double meaning, if you catch my drift) and she probably showed him a few things (non guitar related) in return.

Bill could do one show. I think it would be the hottest ticket going as it would definitely be the last one. Besides they owe it to him for the whole "Grey Sabbath" debacle.
