I can understand why Chris Evans was asked multiple times to take the role because I really can't think of another actor his age who could have successfully combined the confidence, humility, and physicality needed. I wonder if Sebastian Stan was also hesitant to sign on but now he's been playing Bucky longer than Evans played Steve.

The relevance of the scene was to showcase how Ross found him.by tracking down the factory of where that bottle was shipped from, Ross knew what part of Brazil Bruce was in and based on the known location -could triangulate exactly where he would be.
