Your a chicken
Is it upside down?
I don't think there is an upside down with it? I thought about it after posting and I should have gotten a shot of how the hook on the leash works. You just press down on it, which is easy with our older dog, who is a little less wiggly. Everything is a little more complicated with our 12 month old collie mix, lol.
Slow ass

I own the Luba 3000 (memorizes 3000 sq meters of lawn mapping), and although there's been several disclaimers in this Luba Mower review, if you're considering dropping the $2K+ this GPS Mower costs, do yourself a Big favor and read the User Manual thoroughly on how & where to setup the Reference Antenna & Charging Station. It turns out, that of the 31 GPS Satellites this mower uses to navigate, they are Very prone to signal interference from obstacles near the Ref Antenna or Mower. The Ref Antenna AND the Mower must "see" (get clear signals) from at least 20 GPS Sat's at all times, and they must be the Same Satellites, for this Mower to work. The User Manual is Very clear on Ref Antenna & Charge Station placement requirements, and if you have to relocate either the Ref Antenna or the Charging Station to improve signal reception, then you'll have to Re-map all cutting Zones and All of the mapped No-Go Zones. The Ref Antenna needs a "Clear Sky" view, above the Antenna, of 45° in All directions. IOW, whatever height a Structure, Tree, Power Line, Barn, Fence or R/V happens to be, the Ref Antenna & Charge Station must be located that same distance away from that object. If the House is 30' tall, the Antenna & Charge Station must be 30' away from it and so on. If Both the Ref Antenna & Mower "see" the min of 20 GPS Satellites each, the Mower accuracy is 15cm (6 inches). If Both the Antenna & Mower see 29+ Satellites, the Mowing accuracy is 50cm (2 inches). When either the Antenna or Mower see less than 20 Sat's, the Mower stops and shows a "Positioning Error" on the Mammotion App until 20 Sat's are required. If you have provided "Clear Sky" above the Ref Antenna, then any Positioning Error stoppages will likely come from the Mower. The Luba Mower & Ref Antenna depend on the GNSS Satellite system. That's a combined group of GPS Satellites from the USA, Russia, China and European Union. The GNSS system has 31 Sat's that can be "seen" from most locations at any given time. Since the Luba Mower system needs to "see" 29+ of these available Satellites to achieve its best mowing accuracy, anytime the Mower needs to mow near a Structure or Tree, there's gonna be a weakened GPS signal. The Luba struggles most w/ Lawns that wrap around a House and has the least problems w/ most other Lawn layouts. The Ref Antenna & Mower communicate between each other constantly to compare GPS signals and have a range of 80M (262ft) between the two. Some User/Reviewers have said they experience Positioning Errors at around 76M (250ft). I found that Amazon & Mammotion both sell the Luba Mowers at the same price, but Amazon's return policy is much easier to deal with. That and they have a Extended Warranty that adds on to the Two Year Warranty that comes w/ the Luba.
Smokeless means smokes less. Stainless means stains less.
Yes. This is advertised as Smokeless and Stainless Steel. It definitely rusts when exposed to small amounts of water, which wasn't something I expected from Stainless Steel. It's important to know that so that you make sure it doesn't get left outside if there's going to be any rain. That's why I mention it. I treat my stainless steel cookware very differently from the way I treat my cast iron. It doesn't mean I don't like this fire pit. But it's definitely worth mentioning.
You should measure how much you’re using, because it seems like about half as much as you should use.
That's interesting. I know I've checked the amount in the past and I'm definitely using more than half a teaspoon, so I think I'm good. Thanks for sharing your concern though!
I'm exhausted just watching! 😜💕
You setup the device close to the house. Did it work?
Yes! It does have a clear view of the sky though.
I'm interested in buying a slack line for my son, may I ask where you bought it? Ty

You look good in your confortable shorts . 💐
Thanks for your review. The colour looks really pretty on your skin 🙂 I'm going to try it!
My right side connector is different than yours. None of the cables will attach to it..
you probably know this by now, I just found out today there's a setting in the app that will make the Luba go around the boundary when finished instead of running over the lines it made so the yard looks perfect. A tip you might already know about though.. Great vid thank you.. PS also some people have been putting amazon Blink camera's on top of it so your phones notified if someones trying to steal it or just to log in to see if its ok (not stuck) take care
❤❤❤❤
For teaching the robot on where to mow, do you just circle the edge or you have to walk the robot to cover the complete area inch by inch?
That’s a great question. You just walk it around the perimeter and then it mows everything inside that area.
Great video. Thank you. I ordered mine two days ago. Can’t wait!
Have fun! I hope you have a great experience with it too!
I have a theory about how the RTK works with Luba. Basically they both receive GPS signals, which vary in accuracy plus or minus a metre or so. However if Luba positions itself using the x,y coordinate difference between its received signal and that of the RTK, which is getting the same signal, then it will always be accurately placed. From this the placing of the RTK is critical but not that of the antenna that links the Luba to the RTK. If the screw on antenna sticking down on the RTK is this link antenna then not only could you remote the RTK on its own power supply but you could also remote the Link antenna on a length of coaxial cable. Thus you could for instance mount the RTK anywhere with good visibility of satellites and make sure it cannot move otherwise it will not work. However the link antenna could then be placed on high or even moved as necessary to cover different areas. You could perhaps have 2 link antennas one back and one front of the property and simply switch between them. Since this is a theory I would be grateful if anyone could either test this or knowing exactly how the RTK works advise whether it would work? BTW thanks for showing the RTK and Antenna Connector (SMA I guess). I had only seen it from a distance so was not sure if the antenna was integral or screw on until I saw your video.
This is really interesting! Thank you for sharing!
Hi. Did you buy the unit or were you provided it for free?
I bought it myself.
Would love to see your honest unsponsored review in the end of the season.
Definitely! I’m a little impatient right now because we’re going through a dry spell for Michigan. Our lawn is usually overgrown after a week but now it’s hardly growing.
@@thisthatandreviews there is plenty of other type problems with these robots. Like: noise, allways on the way, stuck somewere, alarm for no reason, sticky lawn leftovers (as they new everyday), damaget litle things left on the grass and so on. All these will take time to notice.
I'll give you one now. I've been using it for a few months now and can pretty much cover all aspects. First, documentation is god awful and the app is far from intuitive. It takes a while to figure everything out through trial and error. I am very technical so I can imagine other who are less so will have some hurdles. The more you do processes the better you'll get. The first is creating your mowing area(s). Having done that, make sure if they are interconnected by creating a path otherwise, when it's finished mowing a given area, if the base (home) is not contained within it will literally stop when finished and just stay there as it can't find it's way back home. Manually driving the mower to map out boundary area is a little quirky at first but you get better and faster as you get used to it. I won't get into 'how to' but give you my impressions. When you do finally get it set up and have it mowing your lawn you'll want to set the controls for either fine cutting or customize the settings. I set my cutting height to 2.0 inches or 2.2. I turn off the vision sensors and let the machine rely on it's bumpers for obstacle avoidance. If you have the vision sensors on it can and will avoid high grass as it perceives it as an object. Before mowing You must walk the entire yard and make sure you pick up and and all sticks and twigs no matter how small. These absolutely will dull and ding your mower blades. The mower blades are essentially thick razor blades with essentially 4 usable edges. Each blade (8 in total), has two holes and sharp edges on both sides. Once you have dulled or destroyed the cutting edge you can unscrew each blade and flip it to get a new cutting edge. Having 2 holes lets you do this 2 more times on the back side of the blades. So basically each blade has 4 distinct cutting surfaces before you get new ones. New blades run $28. On to the cutting; Once the machine is set up with a cutting area or two you can create a schedule when it will mow. I have been absolutely impressed with how good a job it does. When finished it looks like a baseball field with a perfect grid pattern (which you can change). It obviously leaves the clippings behind so mow often and don't do it right after a rain. I did that when we first got it and while it still mowed the bottom was so clogged with wet grass. The machine is so quiet it's a little unnerving. You'll be sitting on the patio and the mower is going and you won't hear it until it'drive
Can the robot and charging station be kept inside a garage?
I’m not sure. I have wondered this same thing. The trident/RTK thing can’t, and I would only worry about it connecting with the mower to get started.
Would love to see it running on a hill. Great video.
Coming soon!

Hi mom
Hi James the 🥔. 🥰
🤣🤣
Good video.. i love mine
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great content! How long did it take you to get it after ordering? Thanks.
Thank you! It ended up taking seven days to get here. I was so impatient during that week I kept checking to see if it had shipped yet.
Great review. When it looses connection in back yard is it due to gps or rtk?
Thanks! And I’m not entirely sure. Usually it will say “poor positioning status” but I can still control it manually. However a couple times it started it’s little mowing pattern (at the furthest distance with the porch overhead) and completely stopped because it had lost it’s connection with the pos and when that happens I can’t get it to move with the manual controls. I usually just carry it a few feet when that happens and it starts again.
@@thisthatandreviews Maybe need to reposition the RTK? But you need to remap every time you reposition the RTK.
@spizzy7996 I think there's a good chance you're right! I've been thinking about moving it and getting it higher on the house and I think ultimately that's what I'm going to do.
@@thisthatandreviews Eventually, I'm sure, there will be a second rtk antenna option available. I am waiting to purchase until next year when the auto lawn mowers have had a chance to be on the market for a while. So far the Luba is my favorite. You made a good choice.
@@thisthatandreviewsI would try placing it towards the front of the mulch bed further away from the house first it may be enough. As you already know it will require you to remap everything.
You didn't mention the shade, did you?
It's medium to tan, I can just about read it on the bottle
❤
