If you work behind a desk Monday thru Friday, the leather strap will protect you against alot of desk diving scratches that your bracelet would endure. I had to learn this with my first watch, the Shunbin SGGA413.
That’s a good point. Don’t work an office desk job now but still good to avoid desk dives
There is a better watch from Omega, it's called the Ed White. However, it's also like double the price lol.

I don't get the back of these watches. You get to see the whole movement? All i see is big plate. You cant see the movement. I find this very disappointing. I love the dial and over all looks.
I think because of the spring drive it doesn’t show as well as others. It’s still high jewel and would rather have an exposed back than closed.
Lovely watch. I don't mind it being boutique exclusive but it's a real shame it's a limited edition. I'd maybe try a black suede strap.
I’m trying to stay away from leather or suede but black might make it look a little more everyday

@ got it! The bracelet I got got my GS is from “MiLTAT 19mm Quick Release Watch Band Straight End, Super-JUB II QR 316L Stainless Steel Brushed” I enjoyed the fact that there was micro adjust (you have to use a tool). It’s OK, keep the leather straps you have! Maybe it will be useful for a different watch in the future. I am actually traveling to Korea and might do some tax-free shopping there for a strap
Need to see the Turquoise in person - on Omegas website I fell in love with the color but now seeing it in videos the Turquoise seems to wash out a little - like it's been sitting in the sun for to long. When I see it at my local AD I hope that it pops like it does in the stock photos. I'd like to make this my everyday watch. If not, I will pull the trigger on the lacquered black varnish dial.
It looks a lot better in person. I’m new to making videos and can’t get the lighting right. It’s much darker and looks a lot better in person

San Martin 144 homage
Just bought one. I've asked the boutique to send it to me in the new year so that the card is registered in the new year. I have the OG Pro Moon and it is fiddly to wind because of the crown guards. I can see that this will not have that problem. Also the bracelet is next level. The only reason I ordered it. And the fact that the Ed White 321 is just out of reach for me at the moment and this is the next in line

Id choose the turquoise m8 . Way better I’m not a huge date fan but on these new Lacquer dials they look pretty good Seems like I’m flogging a dead horse but wish they could get a lazy half mill of that height . Anyhow beautiful watch I really like this and the black dial

It’s fine, I guess. But Omega isn’t doing anything innovative or new and they haven’t for over a year now. 100 different colors for each super old model. Yippeee. It’s just a distraction while they print money off the backs of tired old designs.
Why would they be required to do anything this year in a down economy. Besides what has any of their main competition done that's ground breaking? You forget they just came out with the spirate technology and broke the record for deepest depth done by a watch...... I'll wait 😑
@@miabeatz80 Yes, because the average buyer needs that? Even more evidence they aren't doing anything for their customer base. They've completely lost touch. Meanwhile, other brands are doing great. Longines, Tudor, Moser, even Seiko & Grand Seiko brought out a ton of cool stuff this year that really appealed to their customers.
I think Omega is listening. My other video of the FOIS that was a customer watch. Smaller size and modern appeal. These other brands also did some cool work this year. Longines I don’t think did anything too major. Love their classic legend diver. I’m a less is more and classic look anyways I can’t relate.
Longines still have some heritage designs they can update and reissue, I’d like to see them do the Ultrachron with the Turler signature, it has a really nice look
I used to think highly of omega. Lately they have been pissing me off. Too many choices. Overpriced. And their bracelets are the worst in the game. Too many “collaborations” “limited editions”.

Enjoyed this! Recently purchased the SBGX355 and adore it. Yours is definitely more sporty - I think it’s the bracelet which changes the aesthetic. Gorgeous snowflake dial on mine is stunning and classy but not too showy. Size is perfect for my 6.5 inch wrist. And I got a 25% discount! Good luck with your channel bro 👊

Big fan! I have this same watch in a silver dial. Bought in Japan for $1500 brand new with tourist discount. My first luxury watch and I will never forget the feeling.

@CWPLife my newest watch is a two tone 36 Rolex Datejust fluted jubilee with the silver diamond set Roman dial. I got offered a matching set with the same version in 28mm for my wife. We said yes instantly. These are our wedding watches and we’ve had them for one month. Other than GS and Rolex, nothing else has appealed to me. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 with the titanium apple bracelet as my third. I just set it to gmt or sub watch faces to pretend. Cheers to your channel and our watches!
