Rain water acts as a fertiliser but cuttings do not require alot of water so once in a while its ok but every-time if you keep it in rain then the stem will get rotten. Keep them in a shady area

Ma'am I have kept in a shady area only. I have prepared a shed with a green cloth as a roof top. But during rains then water does drop on the bags which are prepared from cutting

I don’t suggest using it in soil mix as it is highly acidic in nature it can increase the pH level of soil and secondly, it is a insecticide can be used on insects of you wish to add just 1 teaspoon would be enough that too wood ash not tue cow dung ash! Will share a detailed video soon !
