The effortless way I ended my social media addiction.
When you look back on the last few years of your life, do you think most of your free time was spent consuming the work of other people? I mean, all the shows you watch, and Tik Tok, and Reels and Shorts and videos...someone else is spending the time making them - and learning the skills to pull it off. Have you been mostly a witness to the lives of other people instead of living your own life? I know I have.
Starting in January, I came up with a new plan. And it starts with the effortless...looking out the window.
Thanks for listening. - ❤ Lisa

Moving Perennials in your Garden | Planting a Dwarf Conifer | Beginner Gardening Tips 🌳
I recently ordered seeds for the red, orange and yellow varieties of these plants for next spring. I will need to plant them in raised containers because rumor has it that bunnies will devour these plants. And my yard has lots of bunnies. You should give Salvia Amistad a try. The plants grow large and are contantly covered with purple blossoms. The hummingbirds absolutely love them.
Loved hearing someone else be enthusiastic about this gorgeous no/low maintenance plant. It gives so much and takes so little effort from me. And they’re so tall and wide!
I just found your videos and I love them already.
I grew these last year & loved them. Planted more this year , but many volunteered. The volunteers are Huge now. The Bees, & the Butterflies & the Finches just love them.. Hummingbirds too.
I planted 50 of these that I started from seed a few days ago :D
Omg you are so funny, laughing at all the things that go through my mind on the daily but you’re saying it out loud and putting it out there. Thanks for the laughs and a giving me a new perspective and for being a real human person on the internet and for making content bc I know it’s hard work.
Currently locked in mortal combat with this hideous, beautiful plant. Just came into my yard a couple years ago and is aggressively trying to take over everywhere. Thank you all for the tips!
I agree with dora59 the struggle is real! Also it is strangling out all of my intentional perennials. Can I salvage them by moving them to a new location and then digging out where the bluebell is? ….. or will I be moving bluebell to a new location by moving the surviving perenials?…..
The best attractant plants in my garden for the local bees, at present, are the bottlebrushes I have as a hedge for my driveway. Second are the ice plants. But I’ve now got Tithonia seeds and I can’t wait to add to the bee’s buffet! Would love to hear of some others that will be able to take the heat in my Med-region country.
The struggle is real. Good luck.
Grew this once and loved it. Have more seeds this year and planting them soon to get ready! Beautiful
I just got seeds today! I didn't think it would grow well in a pot, but I will try some, I have a neighbor very close behind my apt patio and I am wanting to block there yard from my view, this is going into the ground and should work and look beautiful, come on spring :)
Congrats on recognizing the positive impact that the lack of immediate gratification from dopamine dumps via tech. Even the smallest pleasures of an analog existence can be the trigger to great things and avoid a life wasted.
Yes we come by it honestly My husband passed in 2018 Covid hit , I got coved , Locked down again I went to a Greif Share group Then got coved again My health is not good can’t do much I’m 75 But just this last 2months I’m doing so good about putting my phone turned off in another room . Getting so much done This has been a sweet voice. Love the pups . Your home is beautiful and so are you . Please keep sharing. I’m enjoying my time here with you . Have a blessed day
Wonderful message for creatives.
Good idea, Lisa. It's been too long since I've taken a technology break. It's so easy to scroll on Instagram for hours every night and besides finding the odd recipe it really does me no good.
Teenagers! 😢
Wonderful. Looking forward to your next one.
Thanks!
TAPPY TAPPIES!!!
I like these flowers but doesnt like the thing that they get themselves closed before- afternoon😞
Lol love the flowers, got some different ones growing this past season (heavenly blue, grandpa ott, white/blue strip, white/purple strip, red) and she is so right about being an early riser. Unless I'm out at like 11 or 12 I won't really get to see the flowers. Thank goodness I planted a moonflower, at the time I didn't really realize I would be much different but was surprised how big the flowers were and the fact that they bloom in the evening. I'm going to plant a lot more next year
So wonderful.
Thank you!
We will remember you fondly Melany. RIP
She was a beauty
Cute as always

I’m glad that your mother is supportive! even cosplaying with you. My mother is also supportive finding and buying me clothes in thrift shops though she discouraged me from buying those expensive full set cosplay outfits on online shops 😂 Either way she loves whenever I go all out in cosplaying and wanting to make big as hell props.
Put in the ground...forget the pots....waste of time...they do better
You’re so passionate 💙💙 Love it, thank you
Thank you!
I wish I had this kind of relationships with my mom. But she works most of the day and probably wouldn't want to cosplay at all. She called my orange beanie emo, which makes me embarrassed to wear it for cosplay.
bro this is so cute tho
Sweet dog. Better watch out those crows don’t bother him.
Meet our puppy!!! We are in love ❤! #havanese #havanesedog #puppyshotrs
omg I absolutely love the cosplays! I really want to start cosplaying but idk how to ask my dad cause I tried last time and he got so confused or overprotective I think cause he maybe though that I was gonna be on TikTok or something like that. So any tips for telling him an easy way to cosplay(my dad is a bit curious about what that is)😭🤠👍
You looks Soo Pretty 👍👍
It's my first year growing this beautiful plant by accident and I was blown away on how simple it was to grow and the flowers it produced. I will definitely be growing it next year.
woww
You won't have to plant more next year. They'll be coming up everywhere you had them and some places you didnt lol.
Hello from the Treasure Valley in Idaho. I don't know how I got the morning glory blue in my yard but they are absolutely beautiful. From my experience morning glory comes back year after year and if you don't take care of it and keep it pruned, it will overwhelm your other plants. So I'm keeping these pruned and in a specific spot. Thank you for your video. I did not know what they were called :)
Hazel Wood Blue
They’re amazing :0 I wish I could do it xd oh! And a question, we’re did you buy the fake fangs??
The thing is, When my mother was a teen she was cooking for her family so I can't ask her what she did to escape reality for a little bit. I will do cosplay soon, just I'm broke af so I'll wait 6 years.
my dad thinks its weird when he sees me in cosplay and my mom is like hey ill cosplay with you!
it's native to north america and part of the ecosystem no?
