I was about 11 or 12yo when this song came out in the mid 60s. Heard it on the radio back then. Brings back fond memories. It's a cute 🎵 song by a local group. It's been years since I heard this song and now it's 2024 and I'm a great gramma OMG! Memories indeed🥰🌺🌴
What year were these pictures taken?

I always remember hearing it on the radio in Hawaii as a kid. But never heard it again. Decades went by, I started wondering if I just dreamt it. Glad it's real. Great song.

Love this song... Brings back good memories of the 60's at Hilo Civic Auditorium where they played.
I recently interviewed Linda and her bandmate, Fred Kobashikawa! You can listen to our interview here: soundcloud.com/alohagotsoul/interview-linda-green-fred-kobashikawa-linda-green-the-tempos
She’s so pretty! Are the Tempos from Iolani?
I understand she was a kaimuki grad?
Anyone knows what is she doing now?
I've always liked this song. Wish they make more songs like this. I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live. I wish I did.
hippie days ya?
In reply to Der Kiy, she moved to the Mainland where she sang backup for 60s and 70s groups like the Fifth Dimension then moved back to Hawaii a few years ago. Saw her when I went back home for a visit and she was so humbled and flattered that people still remember her. Frankly, she was quite surprised to hear that this song was on the internet. Hope she looks it up and sees these kind comments and fond remembrances.
Are they the same group that did See You In September?
That was the Happenings that did that song.
anyone know what is she doing now?
Who were the members of the Tempos?
Lawrence Harada, Fred & Pete Kobashigawa, and Ronald Lee
@@ninjit53 Lawrence is a Kaimuki grad. Go bulldogs!!
Went to school with her. She started her singing with the Crystals at Washington Intermediate School. I played guitar for her and spent many hours on the phone. Last time I saw her, she was singing at the Pagoda.
