I really hate to criticize.. Especially when John East’s J-Retro Dlx MM is the most killin circuit ever!!. But maybe spend a little more time in the practice room than at the soldering station in the workshop room?? You might find your tone is better, and/or your ability to squeeze every drop of sound out of that circuit with your hands incredibly satisfying!?!?

Is the blank what you have to use as bypass? Will it not bypass normally if you turn the effects off? Is there any tone suck compared to your normal signal?

MM Stingray beats everyone.

The Duff McKagan riff sounds best with the Fender Duff McKagan Bass, the other basses don't even have a chance. The musicman also sounds pretty good, not especially for this riff, but I would like to play it sometime.

Thanks for showing how the placement in a chain with a compressor affects the performance of the pedal. I like how it is "after" the Comp. It acts like a frequency boost and smooths out the quackiness. Thanks.

How's the noise floor on the OB.1? I've had issues with other compressors injecting a lot of noise into the signal.

Great bass line! Comp is more in the feel of the sound, I love Strymon but think you could get the same effect with EQ
