God's Wrath Against Wickedness Part 3 ("God Gave Them Up" Part 1)
Exactly. Works are the by product of a redeemed individual. That's what James is meaning when he said, "Faith without Works is dead". When one is Saved, the Sanctification process breeds good works. It is automatic with a Saved person. Without Works, one can Claim he/she is Saved but like Christ said in the book of Matthew that you will know them by their Walk or Works.
Yes, regardless of how we conduct ourselves regarding the Unsaved, it is God's Will that decides who is chosen for Salvation and who is not. What we deserved is hell and damnation but the Father in His Mercy and Sovereign way chooses. Salvation is not of us. Christ died for all but all will Not be given the Gift of Redemption. We await the Rapture of the Church.
The book of Romans is being experienced right now. We are not waiting for it, we are currently living it now. God's Judgment is currently being played out now. Not against His Christian children but against this nation as a whole. This nation is no different than the nations of the past who have come to Know God and then turn from Him.
A Blessed message Pastor Justin. That notation about "universal sin" is true. We must remember that Those who are Chosen for Salvation are Now are not equal to those who haven't been chosen. We are no better than they are, we are just held to a Higher Standard than they are. As the Sanctification process continues through our Walk with Christ, we sin less and less and the Propensity to sin is virtually taken away. Do we still sin, yes but Now we have Repentance to to implement while the unsaved do Not. True Christians are in remorse when they sin. True Christians are Pained when we sin for we know that we have Hurt the one that Granted us the Grace needed for Redemption. The Heart is inherently evil but since our Hearts/Mind are being renewed when Salvation is granted, we are then a New creature in the body of Christ.
A blessed message Pastor Justin. I however seen No distinction in reference to the Gentiles in this narrative. What the Apostle Paul was mentioning were General instructions for All who sin, All who are not of the body, All who were non-believers. Throughout the New Testament, the writers were focused on "the church" which consisted of mainly Gentiles then for the Jews who were not considered in the church at that time. They will be grafted in later on in the Tribulation period however. From what I understand and forgive me for a difference of opinion but They, Them, Those are All peoples who are or have not come to Christ or simply make a claim of believing Christ, Jews included. That's my take on it but am slightly indifferent about it because it's not a Salvational matter to know who Paul was talking about. Just the Fact that he did talk about it is important because of the Truth embedded in his message. Thank you Pastor Justin. You are missed indeed. 💙
Can you turn up the volume next time? I had a hard time hearing. Thanks!
A Blessed Resurrection Day to you all at DBC. Wonderful message Pastor Justin. ❤👍
Thank you for teaching the hard truth. But the Truth will set us free, if we repent and follow Jesus!
A Great prelude to a book that doesn't pull any punches and doesn't enable those who think that our God is ALL Love. We have a God of love and that is true but we also have a God of Wrath. The God of love has been preached for far too long. God has abandoned all those nations who have come to Know God and then Turn from Him. Sin is Rampant in the world and especially in this nation that was founded on Godly principles. This Rampant sin is thee direct result of God's abandonment. He hasn't abandoned His Christian children, just the nation in general. The protective hand of God has been removed from our rebellious nation. Judgment is indeed upon our nation. Time is short.
Very important part in prophecy. I believe our nation even the world is experiencing the book of Romans right now and quite frankly for the past few decades. This book is clear and in conjunction to what is going on Right now. 😇
A Truly Blessed Message Pastor Justin.
That is an interesting analogy, " Servant/Slave". The substitutionary Sacrifice of Christ by His rising from the dead brings about Salvation to those who come to Christ. To those who the Father chooses to receive the Gift of Redemption. The intent, the overall purpose once becoming a "slave" of Christ doesn't end there. One is now a Servant to and for the purpose of the Gospel. We don't just remain a slave, we Serve. We can't just be a slave and not serve. Just like it says in the book of James that Faith without Works is dead. I believe that Servant, the overall meaning pin points the purpose of one being a Slave of Christ. Paul was commissioned for Servitude. A blessed message brother Justin. 🙏
Our main reason for attending DBC in 2022 was the Word of God being Taught/Preached. We were Blessed with that for sure. Pastor Justin was spot on in his sermons. A few people reached out to us and it felt like at first that we had a church family but not the Unity. We were outsiders and lived too far away to be a part and my Job had a big impact on that. I then had Surgery and that was that. We are so glad for the online availability of Pastor Justin's sermons.
The Vision of Dale Bible Church is a Vision of a True Bible Teaching/Preaching church. My Wife and I would've wanted to be involved there but the logistics were troublesome. For a time we were a part of it. We are beyond appreciation Pastor Justin for the opportunity to watch/listen to your sermons. It is my hope however that the church won't be here for the 2025 Vision statement. May the Lord continue to bless you with the Wisdom and Conviction in bringing God's Word to the masses. 🙏
An Attitude of Gratitude. To be Thankful and Grateful is about the epitome of a True Christian. Obedience to the Word of God is the epitome and thee ultimate gratitude a person can give. I know that my Wife and I are thankful for you Pastor Justin for the directional preaching that is needed in this thankless world. 🙏👏
Sin is present in a True Christians life but the Propensity to sin is virtually taken away. Do we still sin, yes but Now we have Repentance. The Wanting to sin or sinning without remorse toward an All Powerful God who Graciously granted us Salvation has been removed. Since we are "born again", our heartfelt remorse is present now when we sin against the one who gave us Redemption. We still battle the Flesh like Paul did throughout his ministry. Since those who are Chosen for Salvation cannot lose their Salvation, it does Not give them an excuse too sin. It is that "propensity" that keeps us from it along with the Sorrow and remorse of sinning and after the sin. Thank you Pastor Justin for a Blessed message. You are a Called messenger of God's Word. 🙏
You speak the Truth Pastor Justin. The Word brings Conviction and Knowledge. God's children needs Both. ❤
Very good stuff! Thank you Paul!
Yes indeed. God uses regular people to do special things. God pulls, Draws, leads those who He Calls to be available. Many go it alone and without the leading of the Holy Spirit, make themselves servants to do what "they" want to do. To be included, looked upon and be a part of without any real guidance by the Holy Spirit. That's where the tragedy plays out. As for myself, I never go it alone with any endeavor of my own. I would risk much if I ever did. Thank you Pastor Justin for that blessed preaching. 😇
A Blessed Exposition of God's Word. The growth of a Christian's faith is dependent on the Holy Spirit's Guidance. To proclaim your faith, to acknowledge your belief, to reference your obedience is by Guidance from the Holy Spirit. Anyone who reveals themselves in Christ should be prayed up in seeking 1st guidance from the Holy Spirit. To embark in Evangelism with the idea that " I can do this by myself" will undoubtedly end in either Failure or Confusion or self inflicted contradiction which will lead to an encounter with someone in doubt to continue on that path. Yes indeed Pastor Justin, " to walk in Christ brings Glory to Christ"...... 1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
A Blessed message today Pastor Justin. Believe me when I say that I wanted to say "Amen" about 30 or so times during the sermon. Thank you very much. We are blessed indeed. ❤
The Suffering is a burden that is expected when identifying with Christ. If one claims to be a Christian and doesn't experience any suffering, it would imply that that person doesn't relate to the Cross as much as they claim. There are various types of suffering when a person is Chosen for Salvation. Out of all of my family members, I exhibit the Only Redeemed individual of said family. That is the suffering I experience. In times past, numerous attempts have been made to bring the Gospel to them in a loving and sometimes convicting manner. When the Love didn't bring about a revelation of their plight a more stringent approach would follow which many times made my attempt more futile. The Struggle I toiled with has been resolved in the prayer for the Holy Spirit to bring about the Harvest to those who are lost, If it be His Will..... Many are not chosen to understand which is quite evident in the lives of the lost. The book of Romans is quite clear on this. Prophecy is happening right before them and they are unaware of their plight. When someone comes along and sheds Light on their Darkness, they get very uncomfortable. I do not "struggle" to bring the Gospel to the lost. I simply bring it to them in love and not disdain but Now, I give it to the Holy Spirit to bring about the conviction that's needed so that their eyes and ears will be open to the truth. Thank you brother Justin. A blessed message indeed. ❤
Acts 22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
A Blessed message Pastor Justin. The Standard. Direct and a Fact. All things are brought about through Jesus Christ now. Used to be through the Father but since Christ Sacrificed all and Paid the Price that mankind owes, the Father has put All things into Christ's hands. Christ Knew this and that Wonderful Blessed Scripture comes to mind that Funnels everything through Christ...... John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me... The Standard is Jesus Christ now. The Father operated quite a bit different than how Christ does now. Thank God indeed. lol. Thank you Pastor.
Indeed Pastor Justin. God uses those for His own purpose. Even when Christ chose Judas as an Apostle. It wasn't for That calling but for a whole different purpose that was laid out in the Old Testament. Judas from the beginning was chosen for the "domain of darkness", was chosen for damnation but he fulfilled the prophecy that God had laid out. A blessed message my brother. A blessed analogy of those who are Lost and removing yourself from being lost is out of that person's control. God Chooses who are Redeemed and who is Not. Judas is thee perfect example. If one thinks that Christ made a "mistake" in choosing Judas for Apostleship must be out on that raft floating in the middle of the Pacific ocean. God doesn't make mistakes when choosing those for Salvation. Even the Hebrews/Jews, when God chose them as His chosen People, that is in a different context when "chosen" is in reference too. We know that in the Word of God, most of them aren't gonna be Saved in the end. 2/3 of the Jews will perish in the Tribulation Period. God always saves a Remnant of His people so 1/3 will be chosen for Salvation during that time. Even though those that are Redeemed, they Still exist in the "domain of darkness" simply because that is a Reality. We don't associate with that domain but we "exist" here until our death or when Christ comes back for His Church. Thank you brother Justin.
A blessed exposition Pastor Justin. Though the Apostle Paul had never visited Colossai, he was there in Spirit and his letters provided the guide for them via Holy Spirit. The word "Faith" encompasses a broad definition in Any context that uses that word. A little further into the Word of God, the book of James defines what Faith Literally is. There is No way around the definition that he had been instructed to pen. Clear and precise is the meaning and How it is implemented. James 2: 14-20 gives unmistakable description of those who say they have Faith and what it entails. The most eye opening statement was the Proof of ones Faith that in which they claim to have. Verse 18 is a remarkable description: But someone will say, "You have Faith and I have Works." Show me your faith Apart from your works and I will show you my faith By my works......... It is Impossible to show someone's Faith Apart from their works. Literally Impossible. Reason being, anyone can say that they believe in God or claim to believe. It says in verse 19 that even the demons believe, they just don't Obey and that is thee key. As James continues to pen, " faith apart from works is useless" or dead. The world is enamored with Profanity and literally has lost the use of the English language and cannot make a point until they use a certain 4 letter word which I will not print here. There is another 4 letter word the world detests when it comes to God and following Him. That word is Obey. Many will Claim they believe but they don't Obey Him or the Word of God. Discernment is a Gift from the Holy Spirit, whether it be concerning the Word of God or recognizing those who Do or Don't Follow/Obey the Word of God. Thank you Pastor Justin for this edifying Sermon. My Wife and I enjoyed it and hold True to it.
Blessed is the one who does Expository Preaching. May the Holy Spirit continue to Bless you and Guide you in what you have been Called to do.
Pastor John MacArthur wrote: " the pastor who cares about the Spiritual growth of his people must make God and His work the Centerpiece of his ministry. In order to do that, he must Preach the Word". You do that Pastor Justin and do it Very Well. You are a Blessed Man of God.
As James said, "be not hearers only but also doers of the Word".
Very Informative brother Paul. With all the crime and societal breakdown and Cultural confusion, many wonder Why this is all happening when just several decades ago, all seemed good. That answer lies with the Word of God. The Book of Romans is quite clear on this along with other Scriptural reference. God has abandoned the U.S. and for good reason. We are no different than the nations of the past who have come to Know God,,,, and then Turn from Him. He has Not abandoned His Christian children, just our nation as a whole. Thee direct result of God's protective hand being removed is the Rampant progressive Sin that is quite evident now. God has "left us alone" to our own lusts and desires. Prophecy is playing out right before our eyes and Many do Not see it for their eyes are shut. Their ears are shut. Who shut them?,, God did. Thank you for your devotion to God's Word and your humble Work in the Lord. 😇
Love this message. Balm for my heart!!
After watching this, I am watching this one now. A Mirror of what you preached Pastor Justin. ua-cam.com/video/ptI204QfHPc/v-deo.html
A Blessed and Convicting Sermon Pastor Justin. My Wife and I enjoyed it whole heartedly. I remember when we first met at the DBC as I wanted to see what that church stood for. You happened to be there and we talked briefly and the subject went to the matter of Christ and His teaching/preaching on and about the Word. Thee Whole Counsel of God is what is needed to bring the Truth and that Truth will bring about Conviction in a person's life if they are Not following Christ. Christ spoke of the Love of God which is True. He also spoke of the Wrath of God quite a bit More. It was for a Reason. If we fail to bring the Truth of God's Word to the masses, we then would indeed be just as guilty as those who are Ignorant of it. If we Fail to Warn them of the impending doom that awaits them, we fail as well. Paul warned them but Christ warned them much more. Christ actually initiated the conflict with the Pharisees most of the time. Those encounters left them insulted, convicted, shamed and mad as hornets. Paul in my opinion was more sensitive to those he preached to. Christ didn't shy away from that, for those who were deceiving the masses had Christ show a sign of Indignance toward them. We should be there next Sunday Pastor. The Long work week and getting stung near my eye by a "hornet" didn't help matters. Blessings to you and your family and blessing to DBC. In Jesus' name, Amen.
One thing I have noticed throughout the Word of God is that, He never asks us to do Anything. He Tells us. I could Not find in the Word of God where God is "asking" us to do something or even Implying it. It's different with "earthly" dads. It Used to be the same way. When the head of the household talked, people listened and did according to what his will was. Of course, that was Long ago when there were many, many more God fearing families then compared to now. I don't mean to imply that the Dads were the Dictator of the family but God did put him in charge of the family unit. Now, a more Passive approach is orchestrated to accommodate the current culture that is present. The Lack of corporal punishment is what transpired this culture and the parents allowed it to take place or happen. Why they allowed it is problematic. The only culture that gets away with it is the True Christian family where God is present where Love and a Firm hand actually does go, "hand in hand". Whenever I disciplined my 2 girls with a spanking after Warning them not to do something, I would always ask them, "do you know Why I spanked you"? They would either shake their head yes or no. If it was no , I would explain it in a loving way. Either way, I would tell them that I loved them as an additional reason on why I disciplined them. A very Blessed sermon this morning brother Justin.
Pastor Justin, my Wife and I haven't been at Dale Bible Church Long but I must say that this sermon was thee most convicted one I've heard so far. I can Only imagine what the church thought of it and how many If any were offended by it? You hold Both descriptions as a Christian. You have been Anointed And Called to bring the Word in accordance to it. A comment that Dr. MacArthur said once rings oh so very true in the message today Pastor Justin. >>> Dr. MacArthur: "the more like Christ you are, the more the world will treat you like they treated Christ. Maybe you don't get much persecution because there's not much similarity". The Holy Spirit will be very evident in a True Christians life by how he or she conducts it by the Walk of that person. By the Fruit or lack of. Christ was Not apprehensive in His Truth about how things should be toward unbelievers and especially the Pharisees. I would venture to say that Christ relished at the opportunities of confronting the leaders of the Pharisees to reveal their Ignorance of even God's Word concerning Moses and the later Prophets in the Old Testament to verify who Christ was. Conviction can be eye opening and dangerous for some. We are All Called by Christ to reveal the Gospels to all the unsuspecting. To actually Teach the Word of God is an anointing that not all are Called to do. You my brother do it with the amount of conviction needed to relate to the masses, Via the Holy Spirit. Blessings.
Jesus is a fictional character.
I can assure you Mr. Witherspoon that when you pass on from this world, what you will encounter will Not be Fictional. Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment". It will then be too late for you sir and the result of that Judgment is too horrific to describe in this forum. Christ made a Way for sinners to be Free from curse, free from the Judgment that awaits those who refuse Christ. I must tell you though that simply mouthing the words, " I believe in God" is Not enough for even the demons believe in God. God's Fail Safe on a person who tries to sneak in the back door is the Heart. The only person that can know it is God. So Mr. Witherspoon, I would strongly suggest that you get on your knees somewhere by yourself and scream out to God and Ask the Father to Save you by what Christ did on the Cross and that your Love and belief will be imparted unto you because of the Love and Sacrifice of what Jesus did. Faith is a Gift along with Repentance Mr. Witherspoon. Not all will come to Christ on their own. Salvation will Not be granted for all sir but that doesn't mean you can't or won't get by Not asking. What I am saying is that, the Father decides who receives Eternal Life so asking/begging for it can only Help you in making up the Father's mind but you must Mean it in your Heart. Christ is Love Mr. Witherspoon but He is Also Wrath and Christ spoke of Wrath much More in the New Testament than He did about the Love of God. It was for a Reason. Blessings and Hope for your Salvation.
@@joes6883 _"I can assure you Mr. Witherspoon that when you pass on from this world, what you will encounter will Not be Fictional."_ LOL, you assurance, huh? If you have evidence that the Bible figure known as Jesus existed, provide it. However, it is an absolute fact that there is literally no contemporaneous evidence that Jesus ever existed. Shouldn't we expect that if God was walking around for thirty years that the locals would have noticed? Fun fact: none of the Gospel authors witnessed Jesus.
@@joes6883 _"Hebrews 9:27..."_ So, you cite the creator of Christianity to prove Christianity. The Jesus story began in 48 AD with the first of the Pauline Epistles (which comprise nearly half of the New Testament books) when Paul realized the Daniel 9:25 prophesy of a messiah expired without fulfilling so he made one up decades later and set the story decades in the past to make the prophesy seem true. The fulfillment of the Daniel 9:25 prophecy written in 444 BC was the test of the true messiah. By 48 AD it was known that the prophecy of a messiah coming in "seven weeks and threescore and two weeks" had not occurred on the prophesied date. "Seven weeks and threescore and two weeks" is, 7 plus 60 plus 2 equals 69 total weeks. One prophetic week equals seven biblical years of 360 days (the Julian calendar was created centuries later), so 7 times 69 equals 483 total biblical years beginning with Artaxerxes' decree in 444 BC. Those 483 biblical years equal 173,880 days, or 476 Julian years. Therefore the Messiah would come and be "cut off" in AD 33. One prophetic week equaling seven Biblical years is something “Daniel” invented in about 165 BC, effectively an admission that Jeremiah 25:11-12 failed. Paul made up the entire Jesus story and added historical figures, locations, and events to add authenticity. Paul's goal was to garner support for the insurrection against the Romans which began in 46 AD led by two brothers, Jacob and Simon, in the Judea province. The revolt, mainly in the Galilee, began as sporadic insurgency until it climaxed in 48 AD when it was quickly put down by Roman authorities. Both Simon and Jacob were executed. He created the fiction of having witnessed the risen messiah. He wanted to show that the messiah had come as prophesied but was murdered by the Romans. This was to entice the Gentiles to aid in the Jews' rebellion against the Romans. Instead, he created one of the world's most popular religions that is based on the literal worship of ritual human sacrifice, rape, and cannibalism. The Gospel authors copied, and embellished, Paul's fiction. None of the Gospel authors, or any other writers, were witnesses to the Bible figure known as Jesus.
@@joes6883 _"Ask the Father to Save you by what Christ did on the Cross..."_ You mean, what his evil father did. Why do you worship the sacrificial offering of a human? I condemn ritual human sacrifice, rape, and cannibalism; Christians literally worship them and their savior is a zombie (an undead corporeal revenant created through the reanimation of a corpse). Ritual Human Sacrifice- God sent one of his sons to be tortured and killed as a sacrificial offering (a practice adopted from Paganism). Christians worship a father who sent one of his sons to be tortured and executed (and literally called it as a sacrifice) as part of a ritual intended to appease a god (in Christian theology, atonement refers to the forgiving or pardoning of sin through the death by crucifixion of Jesus). John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son." 1 John 4:10 "This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." Romans 8:32 "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all." 1 Corinthians 5:7 "Christ our passover is sacrificed for us." Romans 3:25 "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement." Philippians 2:8 "Christ was humble. He obeyed God and even died on a cross." Galatians 1:4 "Christ obeyed God our Father and gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins to rescue us from this evil world." Romans 5:8 "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." Hebrews 10:10 "We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." ~~~~~~~~~~~ Rape- God raped ("overshadowed") Mary while she was engaged to Joseph and while God was married to Asherah, Aholah and Aholibah (who were sisters). God's sons also "ravished" human females and impregnated them. God sent one of his representatives to tell Mary (who was between ages 12 and 14 at the time), that even though she was engaged to Joseph and frightened by the encounter, that God would impregnate her. A child cannot consent to pregnancy by an authority figure. The Bible uses the word "overshadow", which is the Greek word, "επισκιάζω" (episkiazó). Some Christians interpret "overshadow" to mean that some sort of mystical cloud or divine wind hovered over Mary and then she became pregnant. But the literal translation of the word is, "to overshadow, to use influence upon by a looming presence (skiá)" and figuratively means "to invest with preternatural (extraordinary, exceeding what is normal) influence". So, the "overshadowing" was God using what the Bible describes as the "extraordinary" coercion of his greater power and status to dominate and overpower Mary's desires and will by forcing his own desire to force unwanted sexual contact from frightened Mary with the intent of impregnating her. The word Mary uses to accept the command to be impregnated is "ginomai", which means "let it not be, far be it from, God forbid". In Mary's praise and thanksgiving to God in Luke 1:48 she says, “God has lifted up his humble maidservant.” The Greek word for “humble” is the same one that the Septuagint (the old Greek version of the Hebrew Bible) uses to describe the rape of Dinah in Genesis and other incidents of sexual violation. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Cannibalism is an integral part of Christianity- John 6:53 "Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever gnaws my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a difficult and harsh and offensive statement. Who can accept it?" From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him."
@@joes6883 _"Christ is Love Mr. Witherspoon..."_ Nope. Have you told your mother that you hate her and have you abandoned all of your possessions as your savior has commanded you to do? Jesus will only grant you everlasting life if you hate your mother, abandon your family, and give up all of your possessions- Luke 14:26-27 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple." Matthew 10:34-37 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law - a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household." Matthew 19:29 "And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life." Jesus also says disobedient children must be killed as required by Old Testament law: Mark 7:9-10 "And he said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’, and ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’" (See Ex 21:15, Lev 20:9, Dt 21:18-21) Luke 14:33 “…therefore, none of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions." Matthew 5:40 Do not defend yourself in court- "And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well." Cannibalism is an integral part of Christianity. John 6:53 "Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Who can accept it?" From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him." Jesus approves of slavery too- Matthew 8:5 "When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed." Jesus' parables approving of slavery and beating slaves. Luke 12:46-47 "The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes." Luke 17:7-9 "But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not."
I would say that if Jesus were to become Me, he'd have Alot more Pharisees to deal with in this country than he did have back when He was doing His ministry. Many like to believe that Christ was all Love which is so far from the Truth. Yes He Loved but He also, Convicted. When Christ ever came in contact with the Sadducees or Pharisees, He brought about Reality to their governing of Israel and always had them incensed with His Wisdom and Truth by referencing the Old Testament prophets that many times went against the teachings of those that tried to enslave the people. Christ would have no issue with me "I pray" when becoming me. When I was Re-born, the Propensity to sin was virtually taken away. Knowing that if and when I did sin, I knew it would hurt God and repentance would be forthcoming. Being Chosen for Salvation is life changing and a realization that God actually picked me to be with Him for eternity. I would Hope that Christ would not have an issue being me for 1 day. If He did, I know that Grace was bestowed with Repentance to those who are of the Body of Christ. Hallelujah and Amen.

Very informative on discipleship brother Justin. I use caution when I Think I can witness to this person or that person. I just don't haphazardly go out knowing that this person isn't Saved or that one isn't and then go by myself to try and bring that person to a realization and ramifications of Not following Christ or by not doing this or that. I Never go it alone. I always depend upon the Holy Spirit for guidance in such matters for I will surely Fail without Him. Those who have been Called such as yourself and brother Aaron to bring the Word of God to the masses are held to a higher standard than those who are Not called. When Christ Called His Apostles/Disciples to that Ministry, that put them in a different boat. The Holy Spirit from then on out Chooses who is to Teach the Word of God and who Evangelizes. This is how I am being led to bring the Word of God to an unsuspecting people. For when prompted by the Holy Spirit, it is then time to bring the Heart of Christ to the discussion. Many also forget to then bring the Hammer of Christ in which many do not want to hear. Like you said though, if they will not hear, do what Christ did and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. Thank you again brother Justin.
AMEN!!!
