@@mannymrtz4940 thanks so much for watching and commenting. That definitely sounds like a good burger! May do my take on it and make a video! Thanks again
I've never made a Smash Burger before. Ik, cardinal sin of owning a Blackstone. I just love my Medium Rare Pub Burgers. I unfortunately don't get those very much. I usually use Frozen Patties. I put my patties on my onions so the juice gets infused into the burger. I think that smash burgers are a way for restaurants to cut back on how much burger you're getting on your Hamburger. Each ball is between 3-4oz. They try to fool you by making it a double. I like 1/2 to 3/4lb burgers. So I'm not a fan. I also like them Medium Rare which you can't get with a SB. I can't with my frozen patties either. That's my 1cent. Good Video. They looked good. I hope they tasted good. Be Blessed. 😊 Shawn
@@shawnmcdonnell1779 hey Shawn thanks for commenting and watching! I got to thinking about the recipe as well, I think the key is very very slin cut onions. Which mine were not the “thinnest”. We enjoy frozen and bigger patties on charcoal grill as well! Take care! Jeff
I got the m230 vertical storage version and it is very durable. My dogs chewed the cord and I have replaced it twice. It really can take a beating, the only issue I have is that the front wheel drive is very weak so I feel like I am pushing most of the weight of the mower, but as Jackson showed this baby fires up with one pull everytime. I have left out in the rain for weeks and still never had an issue with it starting.
I wish I had gotten vertical storage. I certainly plan to upgrade eventually. But for cost I think it gets its moneys worth. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Awesome video. I just got my griddle yesterday I think I’ll try the same recipe for my first cook on it
@@Drewcooks24 hey buddy thanks so much for the nice words and watching my video. Honestly, it’s not the “best dish” that can be made on these things. Certainly tasty. But the main benefit is it gets it a great seasoning base and won’t give you a ton of trouble sticking. For that reason alone I highly recommend it! If you remember, let me know how it turns out! Have a great weekend.
Wow. You have that Blackstone level. Those eggs didn’t even run. 😮 I prefer cooks with commentary. 😅 Good Vid Brother. Nice to see you back. Have a good weekend. 😊 Shawn

Great video! How often do you clean your grill?
@@hopecurry6464 thanks so much for commenting and watching! I try and do it somewhat frequently and I Guage it based on performance usually. More flare ups for example. Or if I know I’m cooking something expensive and don’t want to much flame I go ahead and clean it! Hope this helps!
How do you like that dehydrator
@@WiscoBowHNTR thanks so much for watching and commenting! I think it does a really good job for its cost. It’s certainly not the best by any means, but it gets the job done that I think makes it worth it!
@@jacksonworkshop I just picked the same one up earlier today hahaha!
@@WiscoBowHNTR let me know how it works and what you think!
@@jacksonworkshop just did a batch, I love it. I got the one with 10 trays. It took a while to cook but that was my fault I cut them a little too thick. Great machine though.

That 600 dollars over a 100 dollar build your own! I wouldn't give 100 dollars for it 👎👎
@@426superbee4 for what? The cart? Or build my own griddle?
@@jacksonworkshop Both. Its easy to build your own grills > A welder, cutting torch, grinded, a few other things. The things for metal work, will always be used. I got 2 1/2" steel tubing from crates made a lot of things from these metal crates 👍👍Shelves, work tables, all sorts of things! That a person can think of. 400-500 temp wise. Need an infrared thermometer to test the temp of the Griddle.
@@shawnmcdonnell1779 great advice thanks so much for watching!
You can also use Spatula on Spatula. Put the parchment down, cross the Spatula's on it. One flat across it. Then use the other one upright, handle up to smash the other Spatula. Hold for 10-15 secs . Then release. I don't do Smashes bcs I like my thick pub burgers. But I'm told that's a Cardinal Sin if you own a BS and don't do Smashes. 😅 Keep Griddlin'.
@@shawnmcdonnell1779 ya I just didn’t wanna go through the hassle with the spatula! But it definitely works too! Thanks for commenting and watching!!! I appreciate you!

Your lid has a hook on it, you don't have to throw it on the ground. I like to take the husk off the corn and roll it right over the coals at the end to get some color/char/flavor. Good video!
@@bks7842 ya I got in a bad habit of doing that. I knew someone would notice eventually lol. I had it fall before and haven’t really used it since. I’ve also knocked off some utensils before. I’ll try and break the habit!!!! Thanks so much for watching and the advice! I appreciate you! I like doing both ways with the corn!
I like your egg spreading method. I have never seen that!

Yeah man, for sure!
Do you not use indirect cooking instead then only use the direct cooking for searing.
@@HdHd-hp6qz for burgers, as used in this method it is primarily indirect cooking. I do this to cook the burgers and firm them up a little. As I get close to desired temp, I put them right over the coals for the direct cooking aka searing. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching I appreciate you!
