XOX PS I met Dave on Carnaby Street back in 1986 and he hooked me up with photo pass so I could take pictures in the pit at their 10th Anniversary Tea Party at Finsbury Park July 1986....got a bunch of my photos in the book, Light at the End of the Tunnel, but sadly, credit was not given...I am finally making a video about it. Good times back in the days in London!

This is AMAZING! I love stop frame animation anyway, but to see it used by a fan to create a work of visual art to accompany a favourite Damned song is wonderful. I particularly love the detail of Dave's eyes turning green as he drinks the absinthe, and the framed Strawberries album cover on the wall of the bar.

Thanks! It's mostly stopmotion (shot with a canon DSLR and Dragonframe) with layers of timelapse and real footage composited in After Effects. There's also a little bit of cg - the faint fairy drifting around, she sits on his shoulder at the end but is a little bit dark and hard to see. It took a while to make but I enjoyed throwing in lots of stuff that I love.
