      Here’s an updated reply with the GitHub mention: Thank you so much for bringing this up! 😊 I've just enabled the Discussions and Issues tabs on GitHub. Feel free to open a thread there, and let's get this sorted together!

      BTW, I can replicate the issue on my side. To resolve this, please remember to run: ```bash npm run prestart ``` Then, modify index.tsx by uncommenting the following lines: ```typescript import { getKcContextMock } from "./login/KcPageStory"; if (process.env.NODE_ENV === "development") { window.kcContext = getKcContextMock({ pageId: "register.ftl", overrides: {} }); } ``` I will update the README.md file accordingly. I’ve also realized that the README.md should direct users to Storybook instead of npm run start. Typically, we use Storybook for development rather than npm start.

    I'm really glad you appreciated this small gesture. It’s much less than the actual value you bring to the project. One thing I want to emphasize is that contributing isn’t just about adding code, but about providing what the project truly needs. There are two types of contributions: those that add extra workload for maintainers, and those that help lighten that burden. Your contributions fall into the latter category, which is why they’re so valuable. That said, I think it's important to set realistic expectations. Open source should primarily be driven by passion and building reputation-it's extremely challenging to make a living solely from donations and sponsorships. However, open source recognition can certainly help secure well-paid opportunities in the future.

    • @codewithnima
      @codewithnima 2 місяці тому

      Actually, yesterday was my birthday 🎉, and I’ve been facing some financial difficulties recently, so your sponsorship truly made my day 🙏. Honestly, this is my first serious contribution to an open source project, and I’m learning a lot. Even your last comment taught me an important lesson: not all contributions are good contributions. That insight has been valuable to me, and I’m really enjoying the process 😊. This isn’t my first UA-cam channel; I’ve had a few others in the past. Although I’m not putting a lot of effort into extreme editing, memes, or color grading on my current videos, I do have some experience in digital marketing 📈. This is one of the reasons why your sponsorship is so meaningful to me. Events like this are great for creating publicity, which is something I’m actively pursuing 🚀. As you know, I’m a big fan of your work on Keycloakify 💻, and I’ve discovered that I’m not alone-my videos on this topic are my best-performing ones 📹. That’s why I’m eager to dedicate more time to contributing to Keycloakify. While I’m extremely busy this month, I have many plans for the next. Specifically, I want to focus on increasing Keycloakify’s visibility and promoting its features 🌟. To be honest, I haven’t even explored all the features of your product yet, but I’m eager to learn more 🔍. I plan to create UA-cam videos, Medium articles, and other content-areas where I have some expertise-to help spread the word 📢.
