My repairman told me that at Baby Lock training, they were told to NEVER mess with the embroidery arm, as once uncalibrated, it's almost impossible to restore any semblance of good calibration; better to leave alone.

Is there a way to check and/or fix the carriage arm on XP1? I have issue where straight lines parallel to the arm (and closest to the carriage arm side of the hoop) are stitching wavy. Thoughts on what could be causing this?

I see the foot on your machine went up and down automatically. I have been trying in vain to get the foot to work manually (using the lever). How is that done on Novis NV 2700

I have a Brother machine and I live in Saudi Arabia, and most of those who repair sewing machines are Indians, and most of them do not have a background in repairing this type. We suffer here because of this problem, and there is only one agent for the Brother machine who does not have any competence

How do you oil and how often?

Morning from Australia. I seem to have a problem with my locking lever. I have to keep my finger and apply pressure on the lever for the machine to go. I have followed your instructions on this video but it has made no difference to the locking lever. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Very useful video, thanks. It might be better to place your watermark somewhere besides the middle of the screen, as it partially obscures what you’re focusing on . I particularly found the part about the location of the inner hook useful even though I have a different brand of machine, as mine often comes out when I’m removing a bobbin and I struggle to get it back in correctly.
