Thank you for reaching out to me for this project, but I am not sure how I can do a video about it. Because I do not own any bootleg figure. But here are some of rules that I follow... 1. PRE-ORDERS - Make your purchase with known/major companies. (In Japan: AmiAmi, Animate, Tokyofigure, GoodSmile Global) (In US: GoodSmileUS, AnimateUS, Tokyo Otaku Mode, Crunchyroll) Do not pre-order on Amazon, I pre-ordered 3 times, but they never fulfilled and they don't care. They refunded my money 3 days before the release date and left me with no other place to make another pre-order (pre-order already closed). There are some legitimate companies on Amazon, but hard to tell who is legit and who is not. 2. "Available Now" figures - Same as above - if you are going to become a regular figure collector, I would suggest you to setup monthly shipment with AmiAmi - this will reduce shipping costs if you have multiple items/figures per month. And you can add any "Available Now" figures into your monthly shipment (further reduce cost on shipping = more you buy cheaper the shipping cost will be) ** I have discovered some interesting money-saving methods - If I am getting ready to purchase a figure from AmiAmi, I will always check with GoodSmileUS. Reason: GoodSmile is a figure maker and they are also associated with the following companies (PHAT, FREEing, Goodsmile Shanghai, Max Factory...) so pretty much you are buying from the manufacturer. Also, their list price is sometimes cheaper or the same with AmiAmi For example www.amiami.com/eng/detail?gcode=FIGURE-180385 and www.goodsmileus.com/product/modernia-14500 GoodsmileUS is $10 more than AmiAmi, but you don't have to pay for the international shipping (You do have to pay for local shipping but discounted) and on top of that, they offer insurance. 3. Pre-Own: I only trust AmiAmi for pre-own figures and I will only stay with Grade "A" for their figure = "A: Item is sealed and is unopened or appears to be unopened." Here is an example of their grading system: www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=FIGURE-152083-R I just don't trust any figure that has been opened - because you never know what the previous owner "did" to the figure. @TheOtakuOjisan 1. I find it nice to know if other copies of the figure share a defect, like the mold holes being too small for the ear pins. I had a China Dress Raphtalia whose single foot pin hole I had to carve out to make it accept the metal base peg. It was painful to have to carve that hole.

Forgot to mention, I couldn't push her left ear all the way in, you can see it in my video, her left ear has some white spot at the ear base. And oh yea, I had 2 figures in the past that they forgot to drill holes for their base pegs as well, I had to do it myself~ :D

I will keep them coming~ and yes, she is much more red/pink compare with Zuikaku, I did reach out to AmiAmi, but they were unable to help, and I also reach out to the manufacturer, but no reply from them. I hope this is not one of those case that color are deteriorating (I hope just the manufacturer’s mistake). I have a figure that her legs turns pink and her arm turn white… I really hope this is not going to happen.

@@VinZeroz check out AmiAmi, it seems like a lot of people trying to sell it off at almost half price... perhaps its worth it at Usd146 (unopened). Under normal lighting "cool white" you will definitely notice the difference in skin color, however, if you put them under warm lighting (5000K), you wont see much differences. However, it make me feel much better when I see the details of their "fun parts"~ For all the official licensed Azur Lane figures that I own, I have not see any details relate to their fun parts, and this one stands out a lot. Thank you for visiting~ She does look nice~ To me, it is ok to have fixed accessories, since I leave these figures in the display case and I don't play with it at all (more for viewing instead of playing). Both St. Louis and Baltimore, their accessories are moveable and it has more details compared with Dido... but they are more expensive as well. Plus I am also afraid that these connectors (to her body and the support stands) will become loose overtime due to the weight.
