Loved this video lovely, I’m very similar to you and am such a morning person and this video came at the right time as we’re about to do a declutter this weekend! I have a 2 year old baby girl and a 3 month old baby boy like yourself. My frustration at the moment is how do you get up make a coffee etc in the morning after getting ready? Do you take Rocco down with you? As I find I’m almost waiting around for him to wake up after his 5/5.30 feed until around 7 which is when my 2 year old gets up. Xxx

Hey Tori. I get so emotional watching birth vlogs and this was no different. When you know you know 💖 (the mother-hood). I had a semi similar experience with both my births. All I wanted was a natural birth.. but my first was breech and my doctor said it isn’t advised to give birth naturally. And then at the last minute she told me, “oh you can give birth naturally but it’s not the best way.” So then I was left in a spin of what to do. I was crying and so unsure. Eventually I chose a c section because I didn’t want to put my needs over baby safety.. (although I’ve since learned it’s fine to give birth breech, I let the fearmongering take over.) My second son I was given permission for a TOLAC. I laboured for a whole day. I bloody loved it!! But then the doctors came to me and offered my “options” because I wasn’t dilating etc etc… put the fear into me because of previous c-section and I then went into an emergency c-section. I was devastated! I wasn’t as positive as you. Regardless: healthy babies. Healthy mama. Onwards and upwards. Thanks for sharing your video! I knew from instagram you’d had a natural birth 1st time so I was curious as to why you had a c section this time. Blessings to your family. Ally x

I just went in for an induction today at 41+5 days and it turns out my baby flipped himself transverse in the last week which is apparently totally rare. We are definitely some of the rare statistics where baby flipped the WRONG WAY!! So tomorrow we go back for our c-section. I truly appreciate hearing your positive birth experience, thank you for sharing ❤

Gosh you are so brave, going into labour before a c section, I don’t know anything about that but I would have been freaking out if anything went wrong! Oh and how did you find out that he was breech?

I’m currently 40+5 weeks and have a planned induction in a few days to meet my little boy too. Thank you so much for sharing, it’s so helpful to hear positive c-section birth stories ❤

Honestly, the rational mind you have to have when you’re heavily pregnant and just about to pop and/or even sometimes in an emergency and in active labour.. I wish we’d all been able to know that a cesarean can be so positive and enjoyable particularly when it’s not something you’ve planned for. Well done girly🩵💙 and welcome Rocco! Congratulations Tori on your baby boy! 👶🏻🩵 Hope you are recovering well. I also just wanted to ask, you mentioned your mom had 3 elective C-sections. I was denied an elective C-section in the UK, I wanted one because it was my first baby and I feared having a vaginal birth. I wanted to ask if it's a right to have a elective C-section if we want one and could you or anyone in the comments section give me any information on how to have an elective C-section in the UK without it being denied. Anyways I ended up having a water birth it was a wonderful experience and a super positive and smooth delivery. But I would like to know in the future I have the option for a elective C-section if I would like, and also if one midwife denies a elective C-section can another offer it ? So if someone could give me any info at all on it that would be great. Congrats again I am so happy for you 🩵💕🪷

You killed it, girl! C-sections are terrifying and not something I ever considered, but I ended up having one with each of my children! First one was an emergency under general anesthetic because I had a complete meltdown but second time I stayed awake and it was such a positive experience. If I was to have a third baby, I would still be pushing myself for a vaginal birth (I feel frustrated that I haven't experienced one yet!) But I would definitely not be as scared next time if it ended as a section! What a lovely birth vlog! ♡

Oh my gosh - a towel! I’m 37 weeks, just packed my bag and didn’t even consider a towel or two! 😅 just assumed hospital would supply them, that would have been embarrassing!
