This makes so much sense now! I have extremely thick hair, im not joking when i say my ponies (before i started getting the back and sides shaved) were as thick as my calves. Plus i have a curly type, and most brushes wouldn't go through. This helps 😅

When i was doing hair, i had a client that kept all hers and her sons hair at every cut. Id make sure my area was super clean so she only got their hair. She was always nice and super thankful.

I thought it would be that the hairstylist may had forgot, but wanting to confirm and clarify before the appointment is actually really important and a skilled way to explain the process. I never thought about it like that!

So fun fact but Native Americans keep their hair when they cut it, even in a salon. It's has to do with religious practices and cultural beliefs
