I just tie braid straight to spool with arbor knot then put on wrap of electrical tape on the spool then fill

I enjoyed your video and will look into your recommendations for my survival pack BUT I am currently looking for a special use whistle for a select group. An extreme member would be an elderly woman WITHOUT a lot of lung power that has fallen or is in a dangerous position/situation and needs help. Should be loud enough to signal others nearby and simple to operate and be accessible. I am thinking attached to an elastic wrist band. Also with a pea to produce a more noticeable sound wave but maybe not. Sturdy construction and possibly various colors. Low cost and water resistant. Something cost effective enough to give away to needy persons. It should be loud but does not need to be the loudest available, strong but not indestructible and attachable and dependable. Thanks
