Thank you. I'm 59. Have no man to help me. I live alone in a gigantic farmhouse in the North Minnesota Woods. Moved here from Washington State. I LOVE it. Semi off grid. This house was built in 1900. It is SO COOL. I'm having to renovate what I can, when I can. I'm learning a lot. Thanks for this video. I'm going to confidently install my new, fully slatted closet door in my garden room. Yea!!!!

THANK YOU for this video. I just finished putting up the SHIPLAP on my Master Bath ceiling and it looks amazing. Took a while to learn how to use the painter's puddy... (it's not spackle) Once I got the hang of it, it went quick with little or no sanding after. THANKS AGAIN !!!

24, 28, 30, 32, and 36 are standard-sized for most doorway entries. I know; I just purchased a 24 and a 28-wide bi-fold door for a linen closet and a bath entry door. I will be putting the top track 1 1/2 from the outside of the jam. This way, the door is flush with the trim molding when the door is closed. My doors are 1 inch thick, solid core. Your opening has those two-floor moldings, so I know why you centered the top and bottom hardware. FYI, for the top pivot point to stay in adjustment. Could you install a screw-up flush to the end of the pivot point hardware? This way, you will never have to worry about the door.

9:08 I wish you made the camera more focus on that pivot point but overall good video for us beginners

Good videos, if you can cut down on the "uh"s and "um"s. Once I noticed them, it was hard to hear anything else. Sorry. Just a little constructive advice. 🙂

My bi-folding doors are 79h x 30w. I installed a new hardwood floor and the opener for that door is now 79 1/2 " high. It looks like I need to cut my door to fit a new opener size. How much I need to cut??? Please give me advice and thanks in advance. Video is great...

I plan on doing this for a garage conversion to bedroom. I would like to know the gauge nails you used. I have an 18 gauge nailer. I wonder would a 15 gauge nailer be better.
