I would have to agree with Inna’s comment. In its current state this M script isn’t production ready, as Power BI service applies a lot of limitations to dynamic scripts. Consider this video as an educational about M capabilities and working with APIs, applicable for ad-hoc analysis. If you have opportunity to use custom connector, go with the connector - that would be easier.

Hi! You can add this string into baseUrl: and created >="yyyy/MM/dd" AND created <="yyyy/MM/dd”. - replace all spaces with %20% - make sure it’s follows project, but is before limit in the base URL. Hope that helps!

M approach is for cases when you’re unable to add additional extensions or cannot query DB (for on-prem) but still want to collect data, API on the other hand is *usually* freely accessible

1. load all 3 files into power query within Power BI 2. Choose one of the tables 3. Append 2 other files to first one to get all the data combined in one table Hope I understood your question correctly

With DAX more advanced techniques aren’t possible, but can be done with R and/or Python integration in Power BI

Definitely. You cannot take project management out of the Project Manager 😁 it’s a general approach I apply to life - tracking deadlines, todos, goals, etc. In day-to-day life. Let’s say there is certain lifecycle to any project: Concept, Pre-Production, Production, Stabilization, Release and Operations. Currently, I’m still basically in concept stage due to lack of programming knowledge that I need to gain. Therefore, while not yet, once I go into Pre-Production and later into Production for the app - I do plan to do proper scoping, decomposition, MVP, and roadmap. To make sure I’m progressing steadily towards the set goal and keeping myself accountable. Otherwise I feel there is a risk to get stuck in tinkering indefinitely with random curiosities and little ideas instead of focusing on bigger picture. I have specific scope laid out for MVP/v1, v2 and v3 already to avoid that.

Even without backend I feel it will be a challenge to get everything off the ground, and make feature-complete production ready app. Therefore I wanted to increase complexity gradually.

That is indeed includes cost of living - to cover my living expenses while I’m studying, developing and unemployed, plus other costs related to releasing to the app and/or UA-cam channel.
