Finally got around to reading the xmen comics in chronological order (only took a dozen sites to piece together), and so far this is the best origin story ive read. It's so bleak and dark and I love it.

Very cool, The DD, is by far the vigalanti who doesnt need all them gadgets, but could ge be up for one & maybe a strength & or resistence/ endurance increase? Also could it be yet another character that mat oversaw but sensed he coukd be a force for good getting his start in the hard streets of NYC, by way of uptown further nirth than just Manhattan. The otherside of the Moon who knows? Either way great read gotta get me an ultimate TPof this.
This happens before the origin of Magneto, after Wolverine fought in World War 1. At the time Magneto was put in a concentration camp, Wolverine ended up in a concentration camp in Poland.
Oh man, I have a long box of comics between Thor Son of Asgard and Origin, and its only a drop in the bucket. After Kull and Conan, you have Apocalypse's origin, Moon Knight also existed in ancient Egypt. The Fantastic Four traveled back in time. Thanos was born at about the same time as Jesus, then you have the Black Knight, 1602, Mr. Sinister was born at the time of Dracula, then the western comics happen, and Rom was created before Wolverine was born.
I have over 10,000 Marvel comics in chronological order. So far I have the origin of Galactus first, then Devil Dinosaur, Odin was an Avenger on Earth before Thor was born and humans evolved beyond Moon Boy by then, and then I put this series after Avengers 1,000,000 BC. But the order is always changing as I find more comics.

When Frank Miller was not yet a parody of himself. This run on daredevil are some of the best comic stories anyone can pick up.
Would you consider the man without fear canon to the 616? It felt like the most accurate origin when Frank Miller took over. Matt is just a little more unhinged and violent in this version compared to the bright and campy days when he donned the yellow suit.

Awesome! The comics have the most unique stories no doubt. Experiencing the evolution of the charaters through the writing and the art is very fulfilling. But I love the movies adaptations as well (at least the MCU 😅). There are very good comic book movies out there.
