Bar 25, one of the worlds most important and influential music destinations, is in danger of being expelled from the Berlin social scene due to redevelopment plans along the River Spree.
Save Bar 25 seeks to preserve and protect the area of Holzmarktstrasse, ensuring Bar 25 continues to foster creativity and expression without the threat of eviction.
For years, the city of Berlin and Bar 25 shared much in common. Berlin has long been known as an avid supporter of all things artistic and creative. Yet now, when perhaps this community is of the utmost importance, the city seems content to sell short many of the unique destinations that have made this city what it is today, in the name of capitalist redevelopment.
We cannot allow this to happen.
