That is a great suggestion I didn't even think of!! Very good point that Hasbro or whatever company could have raised on their end causing the bargain stores to have to as well to make the same profit. @@DisavowedActionFigures Yeah, it was the only explanation that made sense because I've seen at Ross old stock from Hasbro that they just put out at the old 5.99 price beside the ones with a 7.99 price tag.

It is def a lot different than it used to be!! I still have most of my figures from the 80s and 90s when I was a kid and have a great appreciation for that era however also still enjoy a lot of today's stuff...just not the prices haha. Thanks for watching!

Epic!!! I saw two that scanned the same way this past weekend however the store I was at I know when that happens they often just take it and won’t sell it or look it up on the app and charge full price. You definitely hit the jackpot well done, sir!!

@ I never even saw the figure on the shelf there, so I have no idea how it went clearance to salvage so fast. It’s a great figure

Are they that valuable on the after market for people to scalp them? I didn't even realize wow. I haven't seen them on pegs yet but I also haven't been to a store since their "set date" that I was told was Dec 1st. I wonder how many cases they will be getting in? I feel like the final wave of the year is always less in quantity for some reason.

Yeah I totally get that. I wanted Cap just because I never opened that more recent anniversary one and this was pinless which was cool...even though I am sure we'll get added butterfly joints down the road rendering this one unnecessary haha...Titania I grabbed from CMD early because it looked awesome. Wolverine/IM/SM I like the versions I have too...Beyonder was just unique for me to pass on especially with the BOGO.

They 25% off figures was a step in the right direction at least. Yes, they need to find a way to unload that old stuff. Some people have reported Eternals as low as $2! And they still aren't selling!!

I heard Ross was getting some of the Mindless One wave so maybe Ollies would too. It would be cool to build bargain price BAFs of that!!

I even saw Star Wars Mando for $12.99 this year too. Def higher prices then previous holiday seasons.

Yupper that seems to be the case. I still think think they will get a healthy dose of figures in soon like last year, but they def. raised their prices. Depending on the figure it still may be a good deal but not as good as it was previous seasons.

I def try to remind myself of that on the regular basis when overseas collectors tell me the prices they have to navigate. Same thing with Ollies. They seem to have a good amount of what they do have, so hopefully they sit a while.

Def seems like Ross hasn't achieved the same levels as last year, yet. We will see if they turn it around. Ollies was great all through the fall but now has hit a wall. Last year I think they got one more dump of figures in around mid December so we'll see how it goes. It is always an adventure checking though!!

Donate them sounds good , every one that buys a figure at Ollie's needs to buy at least one for toys for tots . Probably the best way to clear out those isles .

I wish they would donate a lot as well. Maybe after they finish there 25% off action figures deal they will take stock out and give it to Toys for Tots or something. It would be nice since a lot of it will never sell.
