Thank you for your comments my friend, Joop divides the camp….to some it is loud, screechy and smells kinda cheap but to others (myself included) it is sort of all of those things but in a good way…..it is the sort of fragrance that is still so popular that all fragrance counters have a tester bottle…. I suggest that you maybe try it next time you are passing one, as it might be something that you could deal with and get results from…..😉….. best wishes from JL

@JONLEGG When you compared it to Ted Lapidus Pour Homme, you sold me. I love that one. I just got YSL Kouros in the main last night and that was sooooo similar to Lapidus Pour Homme in many ways. At the very least Joop seems like it will have honey notes I enjoy.

I’m not exactly sure….but I did browse through their website and there’s a lot of Japanese words and symbols…but when I looked at the ‘our heritage’ section it didn’t say that they were Japanese origin…. So I’m confused 🫤 ….anyway I’m impressed with their fragrance….JL

@JONLEGG I have a superdry shirt somewhere, and when I bought it, I was told it was a Japanese brand. It's good to know that their fragrances are decent.

Good evening to you my friend, okay so I bought a bottle some time ago, and it was when here in the UK it was only available from 1 seller on eBay UK….no other retailers listed it on their websites…so I guess mine is an early bottle…(to be fair as soon as I got it and smelled it I was straight back on eBay and purchased another bottle) now I have heard whispers that it has been reformulated but as I am still on my original bottles I can’t confirm that for sure. Someone else seeing this posted here might be able to answer your questions….. but I can confirm that the current bottles are similar to the original ones then you are in for a treat…..best wishes from JL….👌

Wow…so I think I remember rightly saying that I spent £17 and shortly after that I noticed that there was no sellers with stock…so it seems that now some stock is trickling through that the price has rocketed 😬….£40 is a lot of money and although it is a near perfect clone I think it is a little overpriced…. May I suggest Instant Love by fragrance world which can be purchased for £17 on eBay UK…as that represents awesome value for money!!! Best wishes from JL

I’m going to say that you are clearly a Blue de channel fan and therefore you will appreciate this clever fragrance because it is BDC but it isn’t…this one will intrigue you constantly as you are wearing it and what will seal the deal for you is the long term performance and large projection…admittedly it doesn’t have the channel quality but for its price point it is an extremely hard working fragrance that will not disappoint you….😉 ….best wishes from JL

Thank you for your question my friend, ok so literally the only thing that separates these two is the price…..they are SO close in terms of smell and SO close in terms of performance….if you have the funds then purchase the Mancera, but if you are on a budget then get the Lattafa. If you are likely to wear it often then go with the Lattafa because you will feel comfortable with spraying it so often and not concern yourself about how much you are getting through. I no longer have the box so I’m not sure about the batch code….the bottle I have was purchased in December 2023….performance is not as good as club de nuit by Armaf but it isn’t far behind…. Smell however is so much better quality and smoother…..😉. JL

@@JONLEGG I am starting to dislike it now, but that is because it is hitting me with the scents from other Lattafa frags I dislike, but I know it will change as it macerates. Some of the harshest middle eastern fragrances I have almost completely changed as they macerated over the past several months.

Yes allow for macceration….although bear in mind that it is a very sharp kind of fragrance….which is why it will get you noticed….😉….JL

Actually the only Moncler I have is pour Homme…with the LED screen on the front…I’ve not had the chance to try Sunrise…..JL
