one of my fave Diana Krall songs. this All For You album was my introduction to her music and i quickly became a super-fan. i saw her in concert back in 1999, before she really took off internationally and tickets became nearly impossible to get. terrific show!
Very nice. Hard to find this original CD release now with this "non-US bonus track"; song is missing from later issues.
I think she would agree-only one version of this song, really:Jimmy Rushing .One should try to avoid a song either done by Sinatra, or Rushing.
You're joking I'm sure. Ramon Novarro & Evelyn Laye sang this Hamerstein song in 1935 and Rushing completely changed the song from how it was written. Rushings version in my view is not even the same song.
@golds04 : please show some open mind. This realese has nothing to envy to the singers u refer. This is a beautiful one. And made by a non black jazz woman, which is exceptionnal.
@@franmini68 to funny- truly. I am not a fan of this recording. I don’t think this highlights where her soul is. I was friendly with Diana when she first moved to nyc -and played with her. Wonderful person, beautiful performer , quite talented and some very moving recordings. That said- i think she -would -cringe- at the mention of color.. Really? SMH.

I love this arrangement! Thanks for posting. I love to play tenor sax with Diana's performances - it's great training and loads of fun! You guys and gals ought to give it a whirl. Throw down. Have a couple of beers first. Maybe three or four. Then, you will think you sound good, even if you don't. HAHAHAHA!!!
