Meat in Space is the one-man-band rock project of Shawn Stedman, based in the Bay Area, California. Collaging together rock sonics from the '60s to the '90s, the music is recorded and mixed to analog tape, the old-school way. The sound could be described as a blend of garage punk, lofi rock, indie, grunge, metal, experimental rock, jangle pop, '90s alternative, '70s pentatonic rock, and '60s psychedelic rock. Guitar-Oriented Rock (GOR) for the lost new age.
