PoE 2 ruined the D4 experience for me, too, but not from the loot perspective. It ruined it from a technical perspective: I want to attack and move at the same time, and I want more realistic visuals instead of cartoony. That being said, PoE 2 is in a really bad spot compared to D4. The itemization is literally gambling, it is a ludopathy paradise. You can watch 20 minutes long videos of players gambling on UA-cam. WTF? How the hell does a game get its itemization to a spot that's so so bad, that people start creating gambling content about it, instead of builds and gameplay? Lemme be clear: D4 bad, really bad. But POE 2, even worse.

do you remember how they said that 'we want that rare item will play more important part, bla bla bla'. I like how you can pick up normal item in POE 2 and with little luck you can make absolutely bad ass item, not talkinkg if you use omens

I absolutely love that there is not that much loot in poe2. Makes me really happy when I can upgrade one piece of my gear every once in a while.

For me it was other way around :D POE 2 just made me appreciate diablo 4 way way more. Cause playing it was fun but when i wento to S7 d4 i felt relived and it was so easy and not time consuming. Like a breath of fresh air

As a long time borderlands player, you said it totally right! Loot in d4 is exactly like borderlands, where you get so much loot. The difference is that you can upgrade you lost loot and bag storage in borderlands. Great vid my man!

The reality is something completely different and simple. ARPG genre is running out of ideas. There's a saturation point and most ARPG's have almost reached it. There's only differences in personal opinions and preferences at this point. Back when most of us grew up, our parents never played video games and most were against it. Now most parents play some kinda video game or another. I'd say overall its a good thing and connects people across multiple communities in different ways. D4 or PoE will not last forever but we gotta count in on the good times we had before we're deleted irl permanently 🙂

D4 is the “Training Wheels” of arpgs. I hear ya on the time thing for those of us who work etc, but d4 is just everything wrong, the devs of it dont even play arpgs for the most part. I am a poe and poe2 player. But my goto arpgs for time constraint and when life is busy is Last Epoch and Grim Dawn. Diablo series 3 and 4 are just insulting. Theyre mobile games disguised as pc games

Im on the PoE2 hype train too. Its a better game. But this video is clearly made for PoE players to rip on Diablo. You're playing the endgame on "easy" mode for d4 (T1) and complaining that too many drops are happening. Legendary items in D4 are yellow equivalent in PoE2 when you hit endgame. D4 just dowsnt have a loot filter. Go play act 3 cruel after running T10 or so maps and tell me its any more difficult. Again, PoE2 is a better game, but this video feels disingenuous

Liked the game, good game but not a good dragon age game. Enjoyed the playthrough but probably wont replay it for a long while, then again i was one of those DA2 lovers who played every route and romance happily.

Diablo's team cant get a mid point between casual and difficult. A good season theme, but a bad conception. oo much casual. Tooooooo much. Played 60h with a barb. This game is a joke, actually. A JOKE

Comparing a game that just came out with a game that have been released almost 2 years ago isn't really fair. Let's remember that D4 was not that easy when it was released. It is understandable that after 6 seasons some people might want an easier time when doing almost the same thing a 7th time. Let's talk about how hard/easy POE2 is when it will release its 7th league.

I noticed that Diablo 4 players have a normal life. It is understandable why streamers decide this way.

Was it a glitch?

Same for me. I am entering cosmo canyon and until now I feel like there is like 70% filler content( mini game's and boring side quests) and 30%actual story. Like they could have atleast made it 50-50 lol. Also why are the side quests so bland and boring. Maybe I feel like that because I completed witcher 3 and then came to ff7 rebirth. Witcher3 has some of the best side quests and there is this shit. But it's not a very bad game. Ff7 rebirth is a solid 5/10 for me as of now.

Yes you can get to that point in poe, with like 200 divine orbs worth of gear, which is equivalent of 20000 exalted orbs, and to get that you either have to grind your ass off, or spend days trading in your hideout flipping currency and stuff like that. Not to mention, that when this happens it's not an intended way of playing, meaning it will eventually get nerfed to be a bit more reasonable😂

Delayed attacks are cheap tricks to fool the player, and if you keep getting caught by them over and over again throughout the course of a boss fight, that is absolutely a skill issue. But they aren’t unfair. An attack that can kill you in one shot, without having a clear method to avoid the attack is unfair. Messmer’s fire orb that he does in the beginning of his fight and in his second phase can one shot you, but there’s definitely a clear, understandable way to avoid the attack. Metyr’s giant rotating laser attack in her second phase has a very undefined hitbox that’s unfair. Bayle’s flying laser attack in his second phase had a massive hitbox that can one shot you if you don’t dodge both hits perfectly. But again, the hitboxs aren’t clearly defined. That kinda stuff is ACTUALLY unfair.
