Hard to stay focused on this story.. The narrator is almost monotone to me at least. First 5 minutes i was almost asleep.. maybe i will keep this for bedtime when i need to get some sleep. JUST my opinion.. Other may love it.

Thought this might be a good story, not a story about how an alien uses humanity as a battery. That's one way to rip off the matrix movie I guess tho.

I have my CC turned on and there is something definitely wrong with it or your story line. Aside from the obvious mistakes in spelling and grammar and punctuation, you seem to have a problem with ALERA that is if I’m taking it right and spelling it correctly. But the CC , now this seems petty, keeps putting out AA, whatever the heck that is supposed to mean. Like I said I have put up with a lot of A I bull but would it be that difficult for some of the channels to at least do a quick proof before release.

Why did the story shift from the arena back to the briefing room? Wasn’t the demonstration already underway when we were taken back to the briefing? It left me a bit confused, especially since the general had already asked Captain Alarm if she was ready to surrender before the "battle" even started. The timing felt off, and it disrupted the flow of the story for me.

Finally, stories where Earth's human beings are not the inferior ones or the bad ones. It doesn't seem to occur to some science fiction writers that there ay be alien races in the universe that are worse than us.
