After the truly depressing, poker faced misery of the Craig era, the longer it stays away the better. The Craig films just got worse and worse. The last two were that bad its tainted the character for me. They need to go back to fun action spectacles. They need to spend money on the films and make it look good and stop trying to do it on the cheap. And they need a charismatic, filmic actor who can play suave and action both. Craig had the face of a turnip and morphed into Sid James as he aged...killing him off in the last film was the stupidest decision in pop culture since a female Doctor Who....The Impossible Mission films are now the go to spectacle for thrills, spills, stunts and gadgets and it used to be Bond. Whenever this next film lands they need a charismatic lead and they need to be looking at Mission Impossible from the third film on for what they should be doing...And just make a Bond film with no links to other movies, no young Bond, no setting in the 60s, just pick it up again and get into the action like they did in the 60s, 70s and 80s....

Sam Claflin would be great. Regarding Craig, his problem wasn't that he was blond, but that he looked like a second-rate subspecies of Red Grant.

Amazon should back off and let Barbara Broccoli do her thing and we'll get our James Bond movie. Amazon wants to trash it . If they ruin it it will have no future.

Rege Jean page would bo a brilliant choice in all ways, as I look at him on screen he has one small feature which is the movement of his left eye brow witch Sean connery also processed, very endearing.

I am a 75 year old man and have watched all of the Bond movies at least in the 15-20 times each. When a teenager, I even read all the books that were available then. I have enjoyed each and every movie, EXCEPT, the ending of the last one. Bond is NOT supposed to die. Period. I pre-ordered the DVD of No Time To Die. Then, watched it on streaming before the DVD arrived. The ending just pissed me off! Bond is NOT supposed to die. To date, I have yet to watch No Time To Die all the way through. My personal Bond future is for sure very debatable even now in 2025. For me, it was disgusting that whoever decided for that ending doesn't get fired!!!! Oh well. Way things go I suppose, but --------

Sounds like someone at Amazon isn't read the small print on the MGM/Eon deal and didn't realise that BB has the final say around the Bond IP. I bet they thought they could just milk the IP dry with films/TV shows etc. Good on BB for holding out for the legacy - if they had their way they would probably cast Bezos as Bond....

* Out of the ones you've mentioned here, I think *Fabien* *Frankel* would make a perfect Bond. No joke. He's a British actor, he's only 30 years old right now(perfect), and he already looks like a very convincing Bond. Just wait and see how convincing he's gonna be after they get a hold of him, and make him look and act even *more* like Bond. I think for his debut as Bond, they should make a movie of that James Bond novel called *Forever* *and* *a* *Day.* by "Anthony Horowitz"(it was Bond's very first mission as a "Double-O" agent). He would be replacing the original agent who held the number *007* in fact his mission is to search for him, and complete his mission. * They don't even need to waste their time writing a song for it. I have the perfect one. They could use the song called *Double-O* *Inside* by "Lara George". They also need to go back to gunbarrel sequences like the video right here on UA-cam called "Diamonds Are Forever Gunbarrel HD"(don't forget the "HD" part, yes it makes a difference). Then, the second film could be called *The* *Property* *of* *a* *Lady* where they come up with an original story, but use that Ian Fleming title that he used for one of his short stories. They could use the song called *No* *Good* *About* *Goodbye* by "Shirley Bassey"(perfect).

"As much as we loved him". Meh. Your opinion. Craig was the least fun and entertaining Bond of all. Hoult or Frankel (or Taylor-Johnson) seem suitable. Bond is meant to be 183cm and 76kg, so that means he's strong without being muscled-up. He's also white, and don't ever try to justify otherwise.
