that design was from the days when hang glider pilots would say " never fly higher than you are willing to fall"

what is it? maybe it's better off to learn a bit, read a few books about how to build a glider. Or just buy one. This craft you better not to fly

I used to hang out with a guy that made a kite out of house wrap. It was 9’x15’. He had his 5 year old son hanging on the edge that was where the tail would be. That kid was up in the air at least 20’! It was amazing.

I had an identical one to that back in the 60s. Bought it from a builder but non flyable. Used to tie it to a goal post and use it as a kite, passenger included.

People get it together hang gliders are controlled by weight shift. Through the triangular control frame the person hanging from the harness can shift and guide the wing in the necessary directions.

When I was a kid at around 6 years old, maybe. A neighbor gave my brother and I a Styrofoam model of a plane that was about 6 feet in wing span perhaps(memory says about 3 1/2 feet tho). We had a front yard that had 3 or 4 foot drop offs going down a slope. We would grab it in the middle and run and jump down the slope and glide for like 50 feet. Now I want to do this again as a adult at a dune or something.

Lets see how it goes with the kids, i'll go after. 🙃
