Do These 3 Things BEFORE Buying Your FIRST Gun
Cool review! I've been thinking about this belt for awhile now. Lots of good colors to choose from. Thank you! Skål!
I felt like an idiot trying to get mine off today. Holy shit it feels like theyre welded in
4 years of every day use us pretty good.
It definitely is!
Have and use a Krydex Battle belt for duty use with my dept in East Tennessee. Sturdy and has lasted two full years of fairly hard use and multiple shooting courses.
They are freaking awesome
Good video brother! You seem like a pro. If you aren't a cop and want to be(can't tell from this vid)... keep working at it and become one. God loves you too! Keep it up!
I’m currently a cop. Well a military cop
I guess it depends on your LE capacity. My buddies belt is part of his uniform, it is a pant belt that is super shitty but he is a street cop so, that might be different.
Yeah it may be. I know it depends on what department you’re with
The ktydex jpc isn't great, but their low vis plate carrier is fantastic.
I may have to try that one out then. Thank you for letting me know!
Nice videos only we killed in wars without fancy equipment killing is dirty job not need fancy stuff btw keep up good work young man🫡
Will do! Thank you!
Go ahead
Everybody’s got their own opinion, but it’s not my opinion
That’s completely understandable. Everyone has their own opinion. What belt/equipment do you normally run?
@ old style LBE from 1970’s era. I’m retired Army. Although I’m kind of leaning towards a chest rig of some kind. I kinda like the idea of my magazine pouches, not being in the way when I’m in a prone position and getting snagged on something getting in and out of a vehicle. Some of the newer stuff is good and I’m kind of old-school.
@ those LBEs ain’t bad. Especially when that’s what you’re used to. I feel like some of the older surplus stuff is starting to become more popular. At the end of the day there are uses for a little bit of everything
What's up big dog. Just passing through dropping a comment and a sub. Keep up the videos.
I appreciate it!
Good to see you amigo. Still have the one you recommended to me and it’s still holing strong.
I bet! It’s awesome
Dude! Super sweet channel man good info! I’m wanting to get into gunsmithing, I can tell that’s what you do where did you learn?
I went through SDI. It’s a mix between that and self teaching. Im glad you are enjoying the channel!
I think a red dot on a pistol is a waste of money. They might be good for long-range target practice or hunting, but in a self-defense situation, where you need to act quick to stop a threat that's only a few feet away, a red dot is completely unnecessary. I think a laser is a more practical targeting device (yeah, I know, lasers aren't "cool" anymore), especially if you don't have time to present your firearm and find the dot. With a laser, you could shoot from the hip, or an awkward position if you had to, where a red dot only helps if you have the gun out in front of you at eye level. I have a red dot on my rifle and shotgun, but I have a light/laser on my hand guns.
That is completely understandable. I did include in the video that if you’re having to shoot at essentially less than 5 or 10 yards, sights as a whole are irrelevant
And also, if you want to take my opinion, lasers are extremely cool and useful as you pointed out
I’ve been shooting for a few months now and contemplating getting a red dot. It makes perfect sense to build foundation with irons first. Thank you.
You’re welcome! And yeah I definitely recommend getting really good with them before moving to a red dot
Maybe I haven’t gotten the hang of it with the red dot but I always shoot better with irons on pistols
I get that. If you have been shooting for so long with iron sights, you get really good at them and then if you’re anything like me, I started questioning my abilities when I started shooting with a red dot 😂 at the end of the day, that just tells us we need to train more with it
I want to buy it but unfortunately it is not applicable to RMR footprint
What gun do you have that you want to put it on?

Recognize the momentum shirt! That Minot, HF is killing my savings account 😅
You ain’t lying😂 it used to kill me when I was still there
enjoyed the video, appreciate the clear exposition and the pros/cons evaluation only recc i'd make is to stop “dancing” while speaking;) i'm sure it something one can be trained out of ;)
Yeah. I’ve been working on that. That’s one of my older videos but I feel like I’ve kind of trained myself out of it. I appreciate the feedback though!
@@BrotherInArms6 aye, absolutely enjoyed the video -- happy to learn my comment was not useful anymore. again my thanks for putting it out!
25:02 so th wrench give you the specs but you dont actually have anyway of knowing how much you have tightened it? You just go by feel?
It has a bar that bends as you tighten it and it lines up with the respective torque spec
For this application that works fine but I will say that a click type torque wrench works better which I use now
Kore edc leather belts are great for work especially.
They are indeed!
"Be sure that you're pushing them in from right to left ..." and then he proceeds to put it in from left to right. And that's where I stopped the video.
Yeah. Sorry about that. I tried every direction I could based on how difficult it was
Who’s boot is this
🤡
Perfect tutorial on how to assemble an ar15 I mean you can’t explain it no better than how you did
I appreciate it! I try to be short and concise. Straight to the point!
Literally just took a hack saw to the rear sight on the XD40 I was replacing cause it wasn't budging- that finally got it out. Seeing this and these comments makes me feel better.
Yeah. I was not expecting it to be that difficult
On red dots that have a groove cut in them can you use that as a rear sight for cowitnesing? I have a Romeo 1 on a dovetail plate.
I am honestly not 100% sure. I would think so but I have also never personally dealt with any of them that had that cut you’re talking about
@ the Romeo 1 has it and I’m pretty sure its just so it can cowitness through the slot. It will work as a sight but you have to aim at the belt buckle to hit them in the chest
@ you said it’s on a dovetail mount so it doesn’t have a rear iron sight does it?
@ no that’s the point. I have to use the groove or shoot more instinctively.
@ do you have a suppressor height front sight?
Oh man my XD-M Elite sights were a real pain to get off. But finally got them off! Had to use a Wirewheel sight pusher which made it easier with a wrench to turn the handles for leverage.
Great build brother. As a fellow left handed shooter I definitely appreciate what you're doing. If you do another build, consider a piston build with the Superlative Arms left handed piston kit. Get either a Geissele MK4, MK8, or Aero Atlas or Gen 2 handguard for clearance for the gas block.
I’m planning a 20” build right now. I’ll definitely take that into consideration!
This doesn’t work at all. The better method is to make the triangle with your hands with arms extended, frame a distinct object on the wall, and close your left eye. If the object is still centered, you’re right eye dominant. If the object has moved, you’re left eye dominant. That simple.
This absolutely does work considering this is how I teach everyone that is having trouble but your method also works. My way is A way not THE way. Just like anything
Must suck being lefty
It definitely does sometimes😂
Here come the internet warriors lol
They’re always around
why not make this RMR cut? makes no sense.
I thought the same thing. I feel like the RMR cut is a standard that every red dot should have
Rings:.....before I separate the caps from bases (from the packaging) I witness mark them with a paint pen. Fronts get this mark : (on the front left side) rear gets this :: (front left side, visualize a horizontal line between marks, line represents the split of base/cap). Keeps caps paired to bases and prevents flipping caps 180° on its base. Tip.... a piece of paper held behind & underneath the alignment rod's 60° bevel points really help seeing the tips. 😉
Thank you bro and I appreciate your video. I’m currently changing the front and sights on my XD-40.
Thats my goto brand for ccw belts!
They are awesome!
Who would ever make that transition and shoot like that? Serious question
I see Kore now has a USA made collection which is cool. I am planning to buy a coyote model this weekend.
Love the videos brother
I appreciate it!!
Thank you for all the info!
That’s what I’m here for!
More light brother
Yeah. Sorry my setup in there was not the best
I would practice reholstering keep an eye on it god forbid something got in the way u would t see it
Yeah I have since started doing that. If I’m reholstering, it means that the threat is neutralized so I can completely understand doing that. I appreciate the feedback!
Both eyes open is best.
Both eyes open!!
You are 100% right. I find myself having to essentially “reset” my eyes sometimes if that makes sense
@@BrotherInArms6Are you cross eyed dominant?
@@Somnus_God no sir. Just left eyed dominant
This is great info. Im a for life customer with primary arms there customer service is no jk. I dropped my holosun 507c vulcan accs , dropped my firearm and the optic glass cracked on my steel gun safe. And they replaced. No questions asked. It was my fault by accident. I just bought a g19 mos and dont want to spend 300+ for another optic so i think this will fit this bill.
I completely agree. I have had no issues with this and I know that if I do, PA will make it right
Thank you for the build list and pricing. Appreciate your effort. Great video. 👍👍
Absolutely! And I am about to do a couple videos on a couple of other builds so stay tuned if you’re interested!
Never ever ever ever use your ball hitch to pull anyone out Mr. That is dangerous and deadly. You said it in your video HAVING THE RIGHT TOOLS TO DO THE JOB RIGHT. Get yourself a shackle hitch receiver if you plan on towing or pulling anyone out of sand, mud, snow whatever it is. Always practice safety otherwise you could get sued if you hurt or kill someone using your ball hitch as a recovery tool. Those ball hitch aren’t meant for pulling anyone out. Remember that.
Thank you for pointing that out! I have since gotten one to keep from having to use that!
Gorilla tape is WAY better than the hf duct tape.
How about a solar panel to change that camper top battery?
I have thought about that. At some point I want to get one but they get a little pricey sometimes
Mountain plate
You can use it on other pistols you’re gonna need an RMR plate bc it has an RMR cut. Picked up mine on sale too!
