How old are these trees?
@@walterthompson2195 10 and 20 years
Superb ❤
Was that a huge toad next to that 2nd tree?
@@TonyaA7 yup lots of cane toads, good 👁️
Foarte sanatos sa traiti frumosilor ce ne prezentati multa sanatate si succes o planta deosebita va urmaresc din Romania Europe
Oo nice
Great tree!! When you prune it, what will determine the height of your cut? Do you trim the green limbs only or the woody branches also? Ty
@@BNM-b7t I just cut one down to the close to the ground it's growing back pretty quick. How short you want to keep the tree 😂
@@FruitFloridaFarm gotcha!! I want a 3-4' tall trunk with 5-6' growth so it's easy to harvest.
Good afternoon I’m trying to grow mango 🥭 tree in pots. Can you help me with making soil?
@@tommywebster-j6x you can grow mango in any type of soil in a container, just make sure the water can drain good, they really like sandy soil, they don't like muddy clay soil
@@FruitFloridaFarm Mango cutting available
@@tommywebster-j6x I don't have many varieties only psm, bkm and seed grown Otis,
Good afternoon I’m new grow mango! what kind of soil you use? Trying to make soil for my seedlings 🌱 mango 🥭
@@tommywebster-j6x mango tree are good with any soil nothing special needed, they do like sandy soil
Does jack fruit suport cold in winter
@@saidadz1903 coldest we got is about 4c 3-4 hours in the morning
Where in Florida? North, central, south?
@@damitawren3595 this is in North Palm Beach South Florida area, I recent went there and they cut down the dragon fruits, what shame
I have 3 cuttings from my neighbors tree . They are still alive 5 weeks in
@@121080hulk any roots?
So you pollen from same tree flower to flower. OR DO YOU HA VE TO HAVE DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF FLOWERS. VERY INTERESTING . I NEVER HAD FRUITS.THIS YEAR I AM GETTING SOME FLOWERS. THANKS VERY INFORMATIVE.
@@victorbonello7132 I collect all the pollen first, there are different variety but I'm not sure how many are different, I know this Pollination method has done great and produce more fruit compared to other years
Those are self pollinators
@@Mannyman2023 if i let them self pollinate it's 50% chance of fruit, when I hand pollinate it's 90% chance of fruit
What varieties are you pollinating? I learned for others that using a computer vacuum works great for collecting pollen also. How old are your dragon fruit plants
@@darleneswetz8325 over ten years but don't know exactly, vacuum sound interesting, it's actually not today much work with the cup, I can see how with the vacuum it will mix up the pollen nicely
yum
Sit can I get 2 cats I am interested with dragon so I Weill bay every thing you want include the shipping I am in tx thank in advic❤
Fantastic❤
Underneath the mango tree my honey and me
That’s very impressive 😮
😋😋😋😋
You explained it extremely well. After watching this, I'll know the type of tree it will be.😊
Bro I need a piece of your bravery to catch a cockroach with my barehands
This was great thanks for sharing
@@toconnor3606 np this seems to work better than with a brush
@3:45 "Sourness between 1 & 10? MEDIUM" 💁😕 Come again?
Is that seed or...?
@@BlckJohnnyQuest air layer, I had two giant seedlings neither produced any decent fruit
I don’t think that is bacterial black spot. Looks like regular anthracnose. Bacterial black spot has a yellow margin around the black spot and it usually goes into the meat and damages it, whereas anthracnose is normally confined to the skin and spares the meat. Edit: and the Haden is underripe, it needs to be solidly yellow with no green at all and soft to the touch.
Can shoot the same video and capture the main stem of dragon fruit tree
@@Hoppy_for_life I'll check it out, that area was hit by a tornado last year
Thank you for this useful video
It’s still small after that much years? How tall was it when it first went in ground
That tree didn't grow much. Most of the sapodilla didn't do well at the farm. Something with the soil there causing it to not grow.
@FruitFloridaFarm I used lime from home depot. Maybe your soil acid. Am in Orlando
@@BlckJohnnyQuest yes most the case, the well water I found out is pretty acidic. But there were a couple sapos that took off after they got established
@FruitFloridaFarm I seen this sapodila tree in Orlando that was big as a oak tree I was like wtf!! That is the only one I ever seen like that, going to ask her how she did that today, fruits and all
Why so much water? Newly transplanted Bananas don't really like a lot of water.
Push out air pockets in the soil. Never had issue.
beast!
Wow! Are you selling some?
I may have a mix box to ship next monday
@@FruitFloridaFarm Wonderful. How are you affiliated with Lara Farms Miami? I just ordered some purple star apples from them.
@@SongHansen8 Im good friends with the owner.
Are they selling them? If so how much per pot?
I forget to ask but usually it's 10$ per gallon
@@FruitFloridaFarm Good to know. Thank you.
Delicious mango
It's flavor is only best with a flute :)
@@FruitFloridaFarm 🤣
Beautiful! This is the kind of channel I've been looking for!!!
How long have you been growing this tree?
Yay! I just potted mine into a 7 gal
Thanks for sharing! Do you use any fertilizer to feed your mango trees? They look massive! Also, What type of water do you use to spray your mangos? (Tap water, well water, or conditioned water).
Spray with city water. We have seacoast here. However I may start up my old well in the future. Honestly they gotten so big now there's no need to feed them but I do lay in the kitchen scraps along the base of the tree. Most of it is time and patience.
❤ Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks for the comment. I'll do another video on this. I think this is my favorite way to grow mango from seed.
I want this Seeds mamey sapota fruit please provide me
I just bought one yesterday and it's about half the size yours is. How big can I let it get before I have to move it into another pot? Or rather, will you ever move your plant to a bigger pot or can it produce fruit in this size container?
Where are you
West Palm Beach
Ελληνική μετάφραση παρακαλω
What kind of soil did you use? I got a new tree and the leaves are all wilted
That one might have been a mix of different soil. Star apple don't do well in the cold. They will drop leaves. You might be over watering check the soil before you water make sure it's dry. Star apple leaves will droop when it's thirsty, that's usually when I water
Nice trees, first year growing these thanks for the insight 👍🏿
That looks nowhere near ph mango 😂
That’s doesn’t look like Philippine mango
❤
Redish one is not fully ripen, it will be sour
Thx
