reminds me of watching hannu mikkola off the start line at epynt eat 500 yard straight up in seconds and when he revved it let the clutch out to warm up the tyres all 4 wheels spinning tyre smoke every where then calmly reversed back for the start.dai was a really quick driver always seemed to be the guy who'd plaster me in gravel
One of my heros. Remeber seeing Jimmy in his Chevette HSR as a kid on the Circuit of Ireland, and being shocked to learn of his helicopter death not long after I bought my Prodrive P1 - what a car!! Always remembered fondly as a fellow Scotsman R.I.P. Colin <3
R.I.P Colin fucking legend
A quick farmer😉
Santo Dio!!!!
Standing on the outside of a pretty quick corner. What could go wrong?
Oh no, it's a health and safety freak, I bet you think it's best to sit at home and balance tea cups on your beer belly....
@@fivedotsdave9723it should be noted that the group b that we all love so much was stopped in part due to crowds being silly like these people, but keep making fun of people for worrying about safety.
You are absolutely bang on the money mate. Don't listen to that plank of wood who's just a brainless petrol head. A little history here! Once upon a time in the late 70's early 80's the Circuit of Ire rally was a great international event on the rallying calendar. The top teams and the top names all came. Hannu Mikkola, the late Heni Toivonen, Penti Arikkula and Ari Vattenin amongst others. Along with great British drivers like Jimmy McRae, Russell Brooks and Tony Ponds and legendary Irish drivers like Billy Coleman and Bertie Fisher and Austin McHale. The Circuit was a great event bringing a jamboree of rallying over the Easter weekend back in that era. Then there was a horrible crash in a local rally with 5 spectators killed. With the result being the Coi rally was cut down, the big sponsorship was lost and those big names never returned because the event was undermined. Obviously the loss of life is utterly tragic but the fallout in terms of the event is unrecoverable. All because of fcukin idiots who haven't got a Scooby do about safety.
Twas a grand time. Rest in peace, Colin.
Absolute poetry in motion. Now imagine seeing it live.
If im goin to watch rally in person im definitely researching what corner has most crashes 🎥👹
Only the irish would cheer a Welshman
rip collin

Colin, "go big or go home"!!! He always gave it 200%..... RIP LEGEND.... Jim, you must be so proud, but so sorry for your loss.
Ayrton Senna, Colin.
Tha best
RIP Colm a gent a hero and a true favourite
Colin inspired me to actually start driving. I remember when I was a kid around 6-7 years old and I played Colin McRae 2005 on the family computer. I also remember that I always wanted to watch Group B and McRae DVD's as a kid. Now I'm 15, my parents gave me a cheap little car to learn to drive in, for the 5 months that I've been driving, I changed my point of view of everything. I thought asphalt (track, hill climbs) were my thing, until I drove once on tarmac and gravel once. My ultimate dream is to become a rally driver, even a not very successful one, when I grow older. Everytime I see a meaneye Impreza I think of you. Thank you, Colin, you made my summer and opened a door for me, that I never thought would be opened. Next year I can legally compete in actual races and I cannot wait. Rest in Piece, Legend! 💔
How are you doing? Are you racing? I just saw this documentary and was going to write “good luck” to you racing and saw it’s 2 yrs old😂. Did you get to start racing?
Colin McRae а LEGEND well live in our hearts 4eveRally WRC CHAMPION 💯
Colin's RIP u will be remembered in Safari Rally Kenya
Born to go flat out. That's why i idolize this Man. I remember when he participated to the Dakar rally. Unfortunately he retired by crashing the car, but man, the speeds he was putting where surreal. Special driver!!!!
No drama. Just very quick!
The legend never die🚗
Man that tune in the background is from a film called shopping it's got Jude Law in it 😎😎😎
Absolutely the best motor sport in the world well come two the WRC epic 🙏🙏🙏 and Malcolm Wilson I loved the Michael pilot escort cosworth it's still my most favourite WRC car and I still have this one from my profile picture the best day ever so glad I was born in the 80s and bein able two see this 👍👍👍
This mans passion won peoples hearts all over the world and even motivated so people two take this sport further and further god bless McRae and his family ✌✌✌
We will never forget ye pal, 2021.
It’s always a fucking helicopter 🚁 gets all the greatest, fuck em = 🚁
Sorry, Colin had a Devil come take me. He was a Quicker than that.
Colin and Ari Vatinen came from the same mould, "Shit or Bust" Brilliant both.
Thanks for all the thrills Big Man. Rest in peace.
Colin marco and senna miss them all wish I could see how far they would go
We already had a lot of biopics of great talents, Ray Charles, Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles, Niki Lauda and James Hunt...Colin McRae should be documented in Biopic...
In all rally fans, including me... the number one best rally driver will always be Colin McRae... regardless of how many Championship he had won or anything, but his flamboyant, determination, sideways and never give up easily-style is what makes him a legend....he really deserves a biopic movie...
Thanks for putting this up.
Meeke would be more UK than Irish.
They know that he from uk but they did it beacause english don’t like Irish so the pissed him off
@@Rubenmcc-h2i spent many days in Irish company at rallies and I think they are great friends and I am as Yorkshire as you can get
@@jeffreystephenson6946 yea but not all Irish like him
But rallying is more irish than anything so...
Meeke is indeed “uk”…but when it comes to rallying he has no allegiance to any flag, he loves all support from both sides of the Irish divide….great driver and great bloke.
Cool dad for sure, and healthy group of people surrounding him too
RIP BROTHER. BUT 7:21 Let the people helping get the car out the ditch get off the car first Colin 😂😂
Greatest driver ever
Colin was/is my all time no.1 sporting hero, it's such a tragedy that he got involved with that killer helicopter
