I use FL to make the beats and think of ideas for my vocals and Dimo mixes and masters everything on Reaper :)

@@Jdm_7552 The most important thing is the room you record in... It doesnt matter if you have a $50 dollar mic or $1000 dollar mic if the room or rather space you record in is ass :D Cuz the mic picks up what you give it and the room resonates and some rooms or spaces have weird reverbs so I'd say first figure out a space to record in for optimal clear sound. I sometimes record in my closed filler with clothes cuz they stop the reverb and make the sound clearer. Another dope thing is so record yourself with effects. So you put the effects on another track and hear urself with the eq's, delay's, reverb's etc.. and then record like that but still press record on the dry signal so you only have that recorded :) hope this helps a little
