    Thank you, I need to separate mine to repot them. Do I have to repot each one separately or can some of them share the same pot since it will be a much bigger pot? I don’t really have room for a lot of pots.🤔

    • @tastyharvests
      @tastyharvests 4 місяці тому

      Separately is better but if you have a bigger pot, you can have them share until they outgrown the pot, too.

      🤓 most insect pests are attracted to the smell of plants, the idea is to mass plant aromatic herbs - Thyme plants in a big pot / Mint plants in a big pot etc, then place the pots around the garden where they get the sun so the essential oils in the plant are released to confuse bugs, have fun 🥳 I have spent pots of money and heaps of time creating pesticide free gardens to feed myself freely 🤓

      Asparagus is perennial. It comes back bigger each year after storing energy in it's roots. They come out of the ground the thickness you see them at the store when they are ready to start picking hope that helps ❤

    • @hairybass480
      @hairybass480 9 місяців тому

      Lol buying that nasty 3year old stuff at the store. 😂 jk. It takes a while for the spears to get like the ones you see at the market. They come back like the above comment said. Perennial plants are really cool imo.

    Lay that sweet potato down horizontally in some nice potting soil, keep it moist and warm. In a much shorter time you will have enough growth from two potatoes to cut and root as many as 100 slips. Far more efficient and much less chance of rot.

      Yup, my #1 rule in seed starting is to use moistened fluffy seed start soil. I did use but didn't mention in the video, and you can see it. #2 is the drainage holes and airflow. Yup cap will be off. The previous container had no cup on, but I was in a rush with my videographer (son) I forgot. I will remove it. Thanks for pointing that out. Let's keep growing food together.💚💛💚
