Tutorial: Basic Studio Lighting for Automotive CGI Artists
Переглядів 34 тис.6 років тому
A tutorial on how to create a really simple indirect studio lighting set up. Software used was Corona 1.7 and 3ds Max 2018 but it will work with any render engine and 3D package. 👌👌
Beatiful

Haha nope, all CGI.

@@Megamind_04 lmao this comment gives me nostalgia because of how much I improved over the past almost 2 years XD. Thanks for reminding bro
Hmmm
nice
Amazing work guys! Where can we get the calendar from?
IF we can see it in more detail way it will be better
I will render it eventually ;)
awesome work
Insane !!
toby lee the best man
absolutely stunning work you guys!
beautiful work
Thank you for this video. Could you make a video on how to create a car livery in 3D with Corona renderer?
Great work dude.🛠 Keep it simple stupid is the way to go🏎
did you use GI enviremnt in it
Thank you
Would you please do the same tutorial with Vray? I can't acheive the same result with Vray :'(
It should work the same
Great stuff man I'm putting up your tips to use in a render right now!
is there a reason my planes above the car are just grey and don't show the gradient? not getting the same result as you
Hey there, do you take on any projects?
More tutorials please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great tutorial and i enjoyed the theory behind the lighting technique. Curious though, as to why the indirect lighting would be better than just applying a gradient ramp to the lightsource itself (in this case, replacing the planes above the car)?
It's not "better" in a way, it was just to show how it would be done in real life photography.
This is great! Very simple yet effective. Would you consider doing a tutorial for rendering a car inside an environment ?
Yep I will make a tutorial soon
hey buddy awesome Tutorial i want to learn more about automotive lighting please post for 360 lighting in vray also i can pay for that if you are wish Thank you so much.
whish you would do more. Im willing to pay if you are interested! I really want to learn more about automotive rendering
Sorry for the late reply... I will do more once I have a better machine, it's quite difficult to do a tutorial when the rendering is so slow.
Excellent tut bro.
Nice and simple .Well done. Question. Using Arnold, and arnold seems to be terrible at using bounce light as you main source of lighting. You need to ramp up the ray depth dramatically to get any decent result. But this results in very slow render times. What are your thoughts?
kill indirect visibility and crank up spread. will help smooth out reflections
Excelente !!!!!!!!!!
Hello Toby, Nice stream mate, any chance you can enable in your twitch settings to save your streams? I missed the last bit of you stream and was hoping to come back today and watch it.Thanks
Done now, thanks for the reminder!
Awesome one man. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more from you
