An Unusual “Budget” model camera that put home movies in the hands of millions with not a lot of money! But has some proprietary catches like its own lenses and film stock incompatible with other cameras.

I actually speak in this one! Just showing one of Kodak’s higher end offerings for 1960. A deluxe version of the typical Brownie 8.

This portable turntable was $5 at the swap meet and I said “what the hell don’t really need it but it was cheap enough” the audio is pretty distorted as expected it’s a 60 year old cheap turntable that never seen service

Plus X footage taken with a Canon 1014AZ and Bauer C3 The Canon produced great footage as usual, but the Bauer left things overexposed. (probably due to the lack of manual control on the F-stop and the expired Plus X film)
1974 Zenith BSR style record player

Just a typical record player a child or teenager had in their bedroom back in the 70s. Boomers and Gen X may have had one when they were young and know this model well.
1976 SL-7200 Betamax: not for pre-recorded tapes
Переглядів 4914 днів тому
Just showing what happens when you play a pre-recorded video in a early Betamax machine. The SL-6200 and SL-7200 and SLO-260 are B1 machines only and most pre-recorded tapes are on the X2 speed meaning the SL-8200 is the oldest that can play pre-recorded movies
FINALLY Got another TI-99/4a!
Переглядів 9621 день тому
Finally! Got a classic silver and black TI-99/4A and this one doesn’t have that VRAM issue like my beige model does! I assume the speech synthesizer is also working with the game I put in (don’t have joysticks for it)

Playing the first cylinder record I ever owned on the first cylinder machine I ever owned

Back in July of 2016, this Amberola 30 was the first cylinder player I bought, along with this copy of “Sailing On The Chesapeake Bay” which I bought at a garage sale in 2013 in anticipation I was gonna eventually buy a machine to play it. When I bought my Amberola 30, I had no knowledge on how to adjust my machine so my first attempt at playing the cylinder caused damage as you can see here. I...

Very cool!
WOW what a find. Great scoring that one oldradios. 😊
That thing is tiny. Weird film, never seen anything like that before. Very interesting camera.
Nice camera!
Wow. Thats really cool
Wow that is a very cool camera. Is it still functional?
@@Thefox0922 yuppp
@@oldradiosnphonographs ooh cool. You gonna record any footage on it?
@@Thefox0922 this camera is in storage but I got the Zapruder film model camera coming soon
How cool is that Camera and TV. Good onya. ✨😊
Very sweet Arvin!
@@sideshowtink better than I thought it was gonna be. It’s distorted but not buzzing due to a cap going bad. Quite unusual for a cheaper one tube portable.
Excellent Oldradios. I love the unit, it's a lovely blue color. Very unique. 😊
@@WHY7772 I’m surprised the thing isn’t humming loudly from a filter cap
Score from the swap meet! It's beautiful.
@@katchaya I may swap the cart or something but it’s better than i expected the filter cap isn’t shot when I get a loud hum if I turn it on
I liked this one a lot. Both the parade and the car show were great to see!
Nice looking record player, no I didn't have one that cool as a teen. Dig the tune you're playing on it too. Shotgun!!
You must be having heaps of fun with new purchases. 👍🫨
I had this one for a year
@@oldradiosnphonographs I hadn't seen it before 😀
What a neat set up 😎😁
Wow! I’m not a fan of these older Edison’s, but this one is a looker! Nice find.
Yep. It was stolen at one point and re-cased it has a 1898 serial number but it’s a forge.
Neat. WOW you will be so busy with everything 😊
That looks fun😂
I’m glad I got another one I was so bummed the one I had since 2007 started to have the picture get all garbled up!

Nice !
Looks cool. 👍
Duuudddeeee!! That's awesome! 🐒
What size tape is that?

Cool Oldradios. ✨👍
Whats that song called?
The Brunswick Concert Band, if I'm not mistaken, I have thus record
@@danielarick2105 you would be correct
ah a girl I knew had a gramophone like this when I was 8. she couldn't play anything on it, but it looked so so beautiful.
it sounds so so beautifully! how much did you pay (I m not from the us so no idea about prices) and how much are they on eBay?
@@Schneeeulenwetter I got this one free from somebody but if you’re looking for any Berliner disc be prepared to PAY
Glad to hear that someone on that forum was helpful. They are dullards who play favourites.
The flip side of Stars and Stripes Forever, I have this record, my copy the label is badly faded, but plays beautifully
Nice! Do you know the artist?
@@perrysphonographsrecords Lawrence Barclay.
What a great piece of history oldradios. Thanks for sharing with us. 😊
I dont understand how that works but it seems pretty amazing. Thx. 😊
it's just like the horns but the sound gets pumped through the tubes
@@oldradiosnphonographs Oh ok I couldn't see the end of tube so didn't realize what you did with it. Put it to your ear?
Brilliant Oldradios. Love it. 😊
I've got that exact same camera! How did you make it work?
do you have the power module or a portable VHS machine to plug it in?
@@oldradiosnphonographs I have neither, just the camera. I'm thinking of getting an EIAJ plug and trying powering it through a power source and watching the eventual output on an oscilloscope to see if it even works (I got it on a flea market some years ago, with my first paycheck lol)
Ook ook ook!!... 🐒
and a eek eek to you!
Don't knock Edison just because of Tesla... Remeber Edison was an American addicted to COCAINE!!
lol love watching the wind up key spin.
Damn! That's some pretty good audio from a tube.
Cool!!!... 🐒
That's is crazy lol gotta love that Uncle Josh laugh.
I amamazed that these are still working and that you’ve found and acquired so many. I guess it’s kind of like me and analog film cameras..
@@flyingo I have the wonderful issue of being addicted to acquiring both. I’m trying to get a new computer I’ve put off for years now so it’s tough not getting something phonograph or camera related but it’s finally got to be done!
@@oldradiosnphonographs I’ve always (just about) built my own computers from parts bought online. Back in the day you could save a ton of money that way.
