    I can relate to what you all said, and I like what you all had to say. I'm introverted and shy. The part when one of you said being told from our peers about how to act and the stereotypes of black women. I connected with you as a black woman it's very hard. But like one of you said you can unlearn it and change, and I am doing that.

    Malcolm X was an effing misogynist but he got away w it bcs he was black . But a white woman who is a feminist has to be careful how she criticizes a black man's sexist behaviour, even if her critisms are legitimate and justified, lest she be labeled a racist! Racism is treated as a far greater injustice than sexism. And that is a great stinking INJUSTICE!

    My body is changing and I‘m 22. I compared a photo of me from 4 years ago to today and somehow I looked healthier when I was 18. My head got a bit brighter and my hair looked very strong 4 years ago and now it’s just dry and strawy. Frustrating.

      @@TheSufficientlyBlackPodcast yeah but oreos are better 🤣 In France the real problem abour "african french" communities is the panafricanism and the fact that they bring racial problems thar come from the US, to France. Of course there is racism in France, but not as much or as worse as in the US. Some young black people in France (mostly the ones who only stay in those communities) tend to think that their case is equivalent to the american case

    is this a serious question......... because you are the original mothers, you are the mother of all mothers. there is no other higher honor than to be the mother. you live in a western aka white society so why are we shocked that the portrayal is skewed. after 400 years we need to stop being shocked with what white do, say and portray to us. stop looking for their approval and acceptance. most black men are ruined by their mothers. we as people don't really don't see or can't comprehend the reality because fail to know history and its timeline of events. study eugenics! no other group of people in the history of the world has experienced what we have and it has serious psychological consequences which are manifesting it self heavily now.

    What is your guys' definition of introversion? For me it doesn't really have much to do with being quiet but about where you get energy from, if you're scared to speak up in a situation maybe you're shy as opposed to introverted because shy depends on the situation, you can be shy in one environment and not in another but if you are introverted stimulation is going to drain you pretty much no matter what so an introvert is quiet because they are drained or overwhelmed not because they are uncomfortable, so guess I just wanted to say I couldn't relate to this, but no bigs

    • @TheSufficientlyBlackPodcast
      @TheSufficientlyBlackPodcast 3 роки тому

      I definitely agree with you that being introverted can be an energy thing. But I also think being an introvert can be very nuanced. I think there are some people out there where it doesn't only hit your energy, but it also has to do with feeling a bit shy and uncomfortable in unfamiliar social situations.
