Where did you get the box, can you give size or link so I can purchase them.
Thank you for sharing.
Which costs more, the sand or the cleaner? I’m guessing the cleaner since you’re using it.
What is the purpose of this? Does it deliver more SH than a downstream injector that connects to the pressure washer.
No this is used for down-streaming SH. Keeps you from going back to your rig and physically turning your SH by-pass valve so you can do a fresh water rinse. It basically shuts off the SH from the down-stream pickup. Hope I explained that OK.
Thanks. I am going to build one and also make a downstream injector to connect it to that can deliver 3-5% SH. @@williamseith4267
What size is the box, or at least the depth your using
Great video!
I like what your saying and I'm reading all the comments on low ball pricing killing the industry.. I disagree though.. and this is in general not just for government bids..This is the whole premise of an open business market. There is always a guy trying to break in to an industry by pricing lower then more established competition because they don't have a customer base and need a way to look appealing to sway some business their way. They will always be able to under bid the big guy because they have lower operating costs and will still be profitable... That is until they want to grow. I'm in Jacksonville, Florida where there is a guy that does power washing on every corner but I'm not competing with him I'm figuring out how to separate my company from every other power washer out there.. What makes you different from every other company in your industry is the secret sauce. Fyi. I can do a house wash and driveway cleaning on an average size house ( 1,800 sq ft ) in 2 hours or less by myself and charge $250.. If I do 2 per day five days a week $2,500 per week for 20 hours of work and maybe an additional 10 hours of drive time 30 hours total deduct 20% for business expenses ($25,000 per year) I still make $100,000 per year for 30 hours a week. I know these numbers are rough but you can see how doing driveways for $100 bucks is still profitable in the end for small companies. It just scars bigger companies charging more but if your doing good work and have great customer relations you will retain most of your customers in the end. Still like your videos though. Thank you
You’re right! I’m in your industry as of yet however these low ball bids aren’t acceptable for the small business owners. America needs to rid our country of this mentality.
Yes, I have been looking on Amazon and found all the same hardware. Great video, thanks for showing me that I was on the right track.
Can One Restore be used on clay brick pavers too?
Probably but I'd check the manufacturers recommendations first.
Nice to see your guys wearing PPE
Is this an actually helpful video on youtube? Jokes aside, I love the videos and it helped a ton! Thanks!
Hey, just wanted to say thanks. Been looking at these for a while, but did not want to spend $800 on one. Used your list, ordered the parts, watched your video several times, and got mine up and running this morning!!! Looking forward to using it next week.
Right on Rick! So glad this video offered some help.
Do you have information on a parts list and prices
@@louvasta6gmailcom Look in the description area. He has every part listed with a link. I think I wound up with about $177 for everything I bought.
cool vid, very helpful. Like it when the purchase links are ready to go too. I would have liked to see the install and the run to the up switch.
Concrete not cement. Cement is the powder you use to make concrete.
Can you provide the link on where to buy One Restore? Great video!
I purchased most of my chemicals at a local power washer store in Virginia Beach. You may have to go to the manufacturers website to find a dealer.
How has the ball valve held up to SH?
You'll have to replace the ball valve probably twice a year depending upon the volume of usage. SH has a way of destroying everything it touches eventually.
Where did you buy the one restore?
What size is the box? 8x8?
You can’t even price a gov job without insurance
Do you know if it will take the stain out of my pavers from the oak tree pollen falling on it when it rains. It's stained the pavers.
I suggest testing a small, inconspicuous area first before going all in. On new stains, it might work. You may not have any luck with older stains. It just depends.
question: Hose barb size? 1/2"npt to 1/4 barb? What size is the threads into your ball valve assembly? thanks. Great video!
This helped immensely with my build especially the pigtail wire connector and inline fuse to the battery idea, 'smart' and practical.
Do you please have a link to the battery wire you used like what gauge wire is it? and the fuse part? I can’t find it anywhere and I’m confused on what the different size fuses mean
The wire coming from the battery is a 16 gauge wire if I'm not mistaken. i bought a spool of wire and one of red then I used some heat-shrink tubing over them to keep them together. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tips.
Hi Bill! Hey thanks for this enlightening video on government bidding. Wow, those insane low bidders are hurting the contracting industry. What would be a good idea to counter those hurtful low bidders?
anyone got the link to the barbs?
What valve can i buy if i do fleet washing
They make more industrial-size valves for the fertilizer application industry. Banjo brand probably makes some oversized automated ball valves.
What size line are you running from your downstream injector to your chem tank?
8gpm
I'm running a 1/4"
@@brandonconfer1615 Hey Brandon that's precisely what I'm running. 1/4"
Are you running your reels live or you just using them for storage? I have mine running live.
I can see you running live in the video I just wasn't sure if you may have changed up to storage or or what.
Jobs that big I just go by how many days it will take. Another tip also do residential at least part of day a couple days so you don’t go broke waiting to get paid
Thanks. I've been considering trying door hangers. Tried to zoom in on your roof cleaning price... $499? Hey, pretty sure i came across your logo on google last year when i was getting ideas for mine. Check us out. Baur Power Wash Neptune Beach FL. Thks again.
Great Video! I appreciate you posting this!
You are right. allot of wanna be companies out there are destroying this industry. In stone mountain it's hard to get $200 a driveway. People are charging $75 for a 2 car driveway and $100 for a house up here.
What software are you using to mark up the Ariel photos of the properties? I’m looking to be able to do that with my commercial bids. Thanks in advance
I can't remember off-hand but I'm sure you could you use the Snipping Tool on a Windows computer to grap a map screenshot. They usually have a drawing feature once you see the image.
Ordered parts and will be adding this to my setup next year. Great video and explanation!!!
I don’t understand why some guys buy $30,000 dollar skids or trailers when the stuff on the skid can be made yourself for 7-8 INCLUDING THE DAMN SKID
I'm with you there. It pays to do the research and build your own rig. You'll have to work on it eventually, so... if you built it, you'll know how to fix it rather than waste your profit paying the local PW store to fix it.
@@williamseith4267 exactly I can’t stand the southeast softwash guy. He sells the same stuff you can get in store for 4 times what it costs. I have a better designed skid that he makes for 1300$
Great video. Since you can't really rinse the two way electric valve how does it hold up to SH? I have all the material and hope to install it tomorrow.
Just like anything exposed to SH... you will have to replace it. How often depends upon I can't say. They're cheap enough to keep an extra on hand, though.
@@williamseith4267 I since found the valve with the 3 way on it. So I can hook up my water tank and bleach tank to the same valve. It will just switch from bleach to water. Switch to water it will flush out the electric valve. Going that route. 75.00 vs 35.00 so its a no brainer.
Between jobs on the same day no need to flush them out, but after your last job during break-down just drop the intake into a bucket of fresh water and leave valve open to flush it
How do I hook up the third hose for water like south east soft wash has there's? So when you switch it back to water it also rinses out the downstream injector. Is there an adaptor I plug two hoses into bleach and water then it goes to one hose to plug into the electric ball valve?
This is what Ive been looking for. Thanks.
Man, for a minute there I really thought you swapped people on us. You looked like a whole different person when you took your hat off and put your glasses on. 😂
I guess it might be time to change out that pic...lol. I'm actually replying from my personal account now since I sold Neptune Clean the beginning of this year.
Hi, this would also work for softwashing right, bc this just helps pull chem / Water / Soap right? Thanks
So this setup would not be a good fit for a softwash system. You need to build a metering valve setup for that because your mix is usually 50% SH and 50% water. That gives you the 6% bleach strength you need to clean roofs. Downstreaming for siding with a 1-2% mix is ok for this system.
@@williamseith4267 isn't this pretty much like a flowpro
@@iamjacksundyingaddiction6595 I'm not that familiar with the Flowpro which looks like a pretty good product. It also looks like that unit uses an automated DN10 ball value which diverts pressurized water from the pressure washer through the bypass system. I really like that. It's actually a better setup. My system only turns the soap on/off but the flow of water still goes through the downstream valve. All in all that system looks like a pretty good product for the money.
Good information. I bought the same setup and that is how the manufacturer designed it. Unfortunately I'm only using a 4gpm unit. I'm curious what you did/doing w/ the old hose reels? New ones are so expensive.
Thanks for the tutorial, but I have an issue, I bought 2 valves, i built the first one following every step, and it worked, the valve opened, but when I turn it off, it doesn’t close. I thought maybe the valve was bad, so I tried the other one, and same thing, after it opened, it wouldn’t close again. Any idea why? Has anyone came across this issue also ? 🤔
Also, switch polarity on the valve, I connected negative to positive and positive to negative, and it closed.
I'd check how you have the switch wired. If you look closely at the wire colors you can see that the red/white wires from the battery enter the corrugated split tube but when they come out one is red and the other appears to be black. The white wire has "black heat-shrink" tubing on it making it appear to be black but that's the white wire from the batter. Hope that helps
Thanks man, turns out I had bought the wrong valve, it looks identical but it was suppoused to be the auto return, I didn’t realize that at first, I appreciate the quick response though. 🙏🏽
What do you connect the yellow wire to from the light?
It looks like he did away with the yellow wire bc all I see coming from the light is red wire and black wire.
All the yellow wire is for is the different patterns which you do not need.
were you get your shirts made thanks joe
Don’t you think you should’ve added a fuse between the battery and power distribution box? Good video tho
Fantastic explainer video. Well spoken and illustrated
Just because you make a low ball deal does not garuntee you the job
I wired it like you show and it was backwards , so I had to redo it
What size box did you use
