This tractor was given to me, it did not run and apparently had not ran in a very long time, with a little dedication and lots of time. I managed to get it running. Yanmar, YM186D tractor, Diesel, Injection Pump, Repair. Music is made by me song is unknown

Congrats on the bring it back to life! I just acquired a 1985 YM 187D and I am going through it slowly. Blown lines replaced and changing the oils and filters and such... Take care!
@@r.evanmiller1030 This has been one of the best tractors I've ever owned.
Curious, because like question what's gonna be If you go over to live data it should show you what cylinder is misfiring but if it doesn't then you've definitely uncovered failures. My autel is fully updated. Great video brother!! 👍🏼
What kind of tractor is this?
It's an MTD brand. It's a large frame lawn mower. Bigger than most of the ones made today.
I have an xtool d8bt. I also tried to do oil maintenance reset on 3 cars already of my fleet and none of them were successfully able to reset something simple as a maintenance light. I was however able to program keys on a 2013 chrysler 200. Seems like it's good for programming keys. Can anyone recommend a good quality scanner similar to this one that actually has some functions it can do like oil maintenance reset ?
Snap on is by far the best but it cost a fortune.
Hey! I just got a 1984 ford tempo that needs some work. I was looking up related vehicles and your topaz is a related model. I'm trying to get her running but I need to replace the front main seal and connect the primer pump. Can you give me some advice on either one of those? I cannot find anything online about my tempo
Tengo varios equipos de diagnóstico, entre ellos el xtool d8 y te podría decir que es muy buen equipo, ningún scanner hace todo ,y entre varias marcas debes complementar.
I'm disappointed from XTOOL D7s. It's the worst scan tool I've ever used. First it came with completely empty battery. This was a sign for me that the battery will not hold well and I was right it's holding only 3 days in standby from 100% to 0% Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try and what a disappointment. This peace of shity software sometimes work sometimes not. I've tried it with several vehicles. Autoscan some times find the vehicle sometime not (the same vehicle) and want from me to input manually the VIN number. My vehicles option is not working at all! I need to put the VIN for my own vehicle every time like a creazy! After that sometimes it is very fast and communicate with the ECU very fast seconds later start to be very slow and laggy and loading for minutes. Deleting of the error codes is not working most of the time, just show error message "communication fail" or something else. Sometimes when I scann a vehicle it shows that there is 4000 errors (*_*) I scann it again and it shows 0. Live data is not working most of the time it shows 5000+ data sources which obviously is not true and if you scroll them you see that they repeat itself endless. The live data search function show also a lot of repeting rows. Back button is also not working most of the time you click it and nothing happens and after 30-40 seconds it sart working from itself. I need to restart the whole device several times each time to start working properly. Restart ... test ... restart ... test until it start working property. What a nightmare I can't trust this device at all. Stay away!
Sounds like a good honest review thanks for the video
Mazda diesel engine
If you go into the obd2 area and access mode 6 you will find the misfire.
😎👍
Just bought one and it won’t communicate with my two vehicles. One a 2007 f150 and a 2012 Rav 4
Toyota is a little hard to scan, but I have learned how to do it, there is just too much information required to scan those cars.
Where can you see battery volts?
reading o.9885 or what ever is telling you its not working on the xtool plus that car is out side of its scan data.
Xtool D7 scans . Scans from 2006 on up it will scan older models also if it's American made because it's an older vehicle you might not get all the updates you're looking to do for it because it is a older vehicle there is a TEC- number you can call and they will answer all of your questions what you need to know you tell them what you were trying to do with the xtool D7 what year make and model and what you're trying to do with the scanner they will tell what the scanner can do for that year make and model. Call the number they Supply with the scanner and tell them what you're trying to do for the year make and model they will have a definite answer for you what it can do and what he can't do for that year
Thanks for your comment, as a mechanic for 23 years working on various makes and models, it's not practical to call the manufacturer of a scan tool prior to scanning it. If the vehicle is an option listed on the scan tool, one should expect it to do the task of retrieving a code, i understand bidirectional test could be limited, but code retervial should not be... I have owned many scanners in my years in the field. Every scanner has its advantages and disadvantages. I'm still using the xtool today. Overall I like it. I just don't 100% trust it.
Also sounds like you got a leak somewhere on that motor
That definitely definitely needs a carburetor cleaning the timing sounds right but them carburetors away all shirt dirty need to be cleaned
One carburetor was very bad. The float was bad and the entire carburetor was full of trash. The other one was just dirty. I sold the bike. Thanks for watching.
Take a look at the Otofix D1 Lite in this price range. The D7 does do some things pretty well and not others. I bet the same could be said for many budget scanners.
Looks like you get what you pay for in scanners. The d7 is only $350.
i agree d7 was tedious to work with. i had to download honda, and chevy updates and it was a pain to activate. overpriced.even though i downloaded honda up dates i could not scan a 2008 accord without doiNg updates again, I HAD TO ENTER VIN MANUALLY ON MY CHEVY MALIBU ALSO. NOW WALMART HAS A CHEAPER PRICE THAN AMAZON. in addition there is no 800 phone number for tech support.
Sounds like Scanner Danner was right with his review. XTOOL is a waste of money.
I don't think Danner scanner is absolutely right about xtool D7 you need to do a little research and then you'll see different opinion
Donnie, Congratulations on this resurrection you have a rough gem there. Small tractor but a real work horse I own the same tractor but just the Japanese version Yanmar 1510D I l love it. Its really handy in my horse corrals very tight radius turn. Enjoy it you did a great job there…
Thanks! I have really enjoyed this tractor. A person will never know how beneficial these tractors are, until you have one. Thanks for the comment. I have plans on improving the paint and the appearance soon.
That's dope
Both arm go down same time on a front loader
If they are not connected, they will not.....fluid takes the least path of resistance, one side is closer to the return.
I'm working on my homemade loader. Trying to get it completed
Very rare for a Ford Tempo/Mercury Topaz to be powered by a 4-cylinder Diesel engine...the 2.3L HSC EFI inline-4 was far more common!
dont know why the green line is in the video. it was not in the original.
