Man, the atmosphere here is amazing, and the scope of the map is enormous, you can make MMOs with maps like that. But it's so weird seeing the outdated engine with freaking 64x64 pixel texture maps and 30 y.o. enemies being used for it. In any case, amazing captivating work.

This is a very good map! But all the textures are taken from Quake 2! It seems that the action takes place on the planet Stroggos. And the beginning of the level is typical for the plot of Quake 2. 👍

Could the Quake 2 vibe be any stronger with this one? 🙂

Quake had the graphics I ever wanted for Doom but it never felt as engaging. I don't know why it came across as so sterile to me.

I have never searched for Quake on neither UA-cam nor on google and yet it recommended me this video after I just replayed the entire game on Steam. Well, it was a cool watch nonetheless! I want to play even moreeeee!!!

Man, there are many cool maps lately, but this one is amongst the worst I ever played: -Had to increase brightness to maximum to see walls just in front of me (Didn't knew the fog 0 command) -If you stray from the path, it is death (machine gun immortal vores). -See up, but you might get soft locked: If you wake them up, they will make it to the middle of the map, and make it impossible to beat without cheats. Just wanted to see if this level was possible to beat :D

Your Quake skill is getting worse

This makes me feel nostalgic for all the fun I had modding Quake 25 years ago! glQuake HATED big open maps with a bunch of sky like this, but I did it anyway!!!!
