I have got new offer from my current bank and I didn't inform my university can It cost me during interview? i got new offer with batter rate of interest but my previous sanction letter is showing great or increased money in sanction letter

Actually after getting my I20 I got better offer from same bank in term of interest rate. So I have accepted the current offer of my bank but that information is not shared to my university.... Can I inform them and get the change done form my university in my I20 in term of my laon amount or doesn't need to do that?
