Yeah it's just on a piece of melamine board and I leave it on there til it's moulded

Hi! It's a water based clay called 'earthenware buff clay' by potterycraft but any ceramics/pottery supplier will sell a version of it.

Thanks so much! The eyes arw closed because it will ultimately end up as a puppet head with Blinking eyes so the lids have to be sculpted in situ 😊

Clever idea to warm clay up first. How did you warm it up and is it plasticine?
Thanks! I melt it in a slow cooker (crockpot?) it’s an oil based clay called plastelline, similar to monster clay
What did you brush it with
It's Naptha/lighter fluid, softens the surface of the clay
Ngl thought it was gonna end up looking like Harry the Hunter to begin with🙊
The beetlejuice guy? I think a lot of the things I sculpt go through a phase of looking like him! 😊
