Murphy V270C CRM142 Mazda tube problems!
Why not do both?
murphy please, many thanks
Now we need to see THIS video on the T18 😄 Excellent picture from that rare old tube.
Murphy first please
Firestone, please. Amazing condition on both sets. Firestone (tire manufacturer and retail tire seller) and Western Auto (parts store and general merch in small towns) both sold electronics in the USA. Western Auto's sets went by the name Trutone. I don't recall if Firestones sets ever had a separate brand. Both quit selling general merchandise in the 1970s. Firestone still operates tire and service centers, Western Auto was absorbed by Advance Auto Parts.
Wow...
Murphy set! Really nice looking thing.
Murphy👍
They both look interesting but could we please see the Murphy first
I know about this the chassis is grounded to neutral
I am actively working on the same Firestone model right now. Its a very crude, early, electrostatic TV. Also keep in mind that it is a HOT chassis design. Also make sure you replace the caps with the correct voltages as many are rated at over 1000 volts.
Murphy please
16,9 ON A T18 FROM 38 THATS SO COOL
The Murphy looks the most intresting!!
Fantastico!!!
Would love to see the Murphy brought back to life !
id get the murphy done
Funny thing is turn it on, you get bbc and they’re showing the same programmes as ever😂
An in-depth restoration of the Murphy if possible please.
Firestone
Now that is nice... Didn't know about the switch offs though. All thanks to the last Govt freezing the licence fee and more significantly ending Govt funding of the licence fee for the elderly. Let's hope FM is kept for a while longer, DAB is so rubbish.
Murphy please 😀 Seen more US sets than UK on UA-cam and the Firestone won't hold many mysteries for me.
Its got to be the Murphy!
Murphy please! Keep it British!
My vote goes with the Murphy,. Is there any update on the Capehart ?
As the capehart is such a huge job I guess it's going to take a while. We'll just have to be patient. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait though.
Murphy please! 😊
Murphy
Firestone
Murphy.
Murphy.
Murphy please.
Murphy please. The founder of the company, Frank Murphy, was my godfathers father in Welwyn Garden City. It's almost part of the family!
Creacking picture and really good brightness and contrast.
The Murphy please.
Murphy
Murphy ❤
Firestone 🙂
The Murphy, while the Firestone is an interesting set, and we are fans of Glasslinger the Murphy is something most of us here in the States rarely get to see.
Murphy please
That's a cool idea... : )
Interesting to see the brand Mazda. Is that the same company as the cars? Wow what a filth. I never thought it would be so bad.
It was VERY dirty! Mazda made light bulbs....valves/tubes, and CRTs seemed an obvious progression for them. Nothing to do with the car brand.
@@vintagetvandwireless thanks!
Definitely the Murphy
I vote for the Murphy.
Murphy 1946
There are absolutely plenty of the 7JP4 ones like the Firestone. Definitely the Murphy...
Ahhh That is a hard choice. I have to say the murphy. It is more of a rarity to us here in the states that collect and repair vintage tv's
That's quite an impressive picture, Rob!
Thank you. It's taken some time, but she's looking pretty good for 86!
The Murphy, please.
Murphy
Murphy every time
