🐧 Hoi, welkom op mijn kanaal!
Hier laat ik filmpjes zien van het openbaar vervoer (voornamelijk treinen) in het binnen- en buitenland, met een pinguïn erbij. Het beantwoordt simpel de vraag "Hoe ziet de trein eruit?". Gewoon materieel wordt in de loop der tijd bijzonder. Verandering is de enige constante.

30 July 2024 NS VIRM-6 8741 Arnhem Centraal The VIRM intercity is not the star of the video, the Nightjet locomotive is. The locomotive had an accident the evening before. The overhead wire, a pantograph, and the front window of the locomotive got damaged. Luckily there were no wounded. Around an hour after filming this, the train got shunted all the way to Amsterdam.

Und das interessante ist, dass der ICE nur auf dem vordersten Wagen Herford heißt. Auf dem hinteren Wagen steht Mittenwald. Der Herforder ICE hat 2021 gebrannt und der Mittenwalder hatte 2022 einen Unfall. Dann hat man aus den Resten der zwei kaputten Züge einen neuen zusammengestellt, weshalb die Endwagen verschiedene Namen tragen.

If you mean the melody during the video: that is the carillon of the train station! Otherwise; the Traxx sounds pretty normal 😄
