    😀Excellent video! I loved my blue switches on my last keyboard by Motospeed with their GK89 Mechanical Keyboard . I loved the look, feel, and sound of it. I just bought a new keyboard that is the same model, but has black switches. I am a heavy typist. I am constantly sending emails daily, using notepad, and I am a website designer. Do you feel that I will like the black switches just as good? What did you mean by industrial and point-of-sale users for black switches? Thank you so much!

    So I'm thinking blue switches, PBT doubleshot keycaps, tape backed board and foam insulation will be perfect for use at the library

    Not enough sound testing of the different switches, sound is a big part of choosing what's right for you. If the feel is amazing but the sound drives you nuts, you need to know that.

    If someone here considers buying blue switches: they sound louder in real life, and the video is way more silent.

    I was gifted a keyboard with blue switches years ago and I hate them so much. It's such a sharp and grating sound, but I've been too cheap to replace the keyboard. But I just discovered the keys are hotswappable so I think I'm gonna get a set of Brown or Black. And finally not give myself headaches from typeing too loud lol.

    I think mechanical keys are highly overrated. There is a reason why membrane keys have been set as the standard for schools, workplaces, etc. It's not just because they are cheaper but because they have less of a learning curve. Unless you literally have fat fingers it's extremely hard to accidentally press the wrong key on a membrane keyboard, because they have to actually bottom out in order to activate. Where as all mechanical switches activate around the half way point, making it extremely easily to hit the wrong key with the slightest effort.

    I'm deciding between the brown and red switches, but I still don't know which one to choose and whether I'm making a mistake by choosing one option. is there anyone here who can advise from their own experience when playing games?

    • @huunhanle3809
      @huunhanle3809 5 місяців тому

      I can both playing games just fine with Linear and Tactile switch. In my opinion, if you have used to typing and gaming on normal membrane keyboard, then Linear switch will suit you fine. Otherwise, Tactile is also a good alternative option, the bump inside the switch will surely help you reduce the mis-typed.

    I've been using a corsair strafe rgb mk.2 mechanical gaming keyboard, backlit rgb led, cherry mx silent red Keyboard for about 7 years and I'll never use anything else. It is super quiet and the only downside I have found is its really heavy.
