Kia ora! Just a young winter fish and dive. An RNR mission that needed to happen sooner rather than later.. had a weather window open and took the opportunity.

Kia ora whanau and thanks for watching another one of my videos. Today we’re in Rotorua on the Tarawera lake trawling for trout and checking out these hot water mineral pools that I had heard of but never been there. It was a great experience and a magnificent day out on the lake and we managed to bag our first trout on the ‘Coming’ boat.

Kia ora team. Beautiful day on the west coast so why not make the most of it. First time in a long time heading up to the 21 pinnacle north of raglan. Awesome day fishing and the weather turned to custard which hindered any chance of a dive. Thanks for take time to watch the video.

Kia ora whanau! This was our first dive for 2024.. the first dive we actually did over the Xmas/ NY period and it was pretty average, I’m not gone lie. I was just happy to be in the water and finally get a feed of Kina because every time after a days fishing the weather would pick up and shut down any chance of getting in the water. So this was as good as it got that day.. Chur!

Beautiful day for a father son trip! I wasn’t very excited whitebaiting with my dad but this time round my kids were keen to learn where whitebait come from and how to catch it which really got me going! I really wanted to give him the full experience with a white stick but once again got it all wrong. Kind of a failed success if you ask me!! Thanks for watching!

We’re back again with another video! Exploring our whenua and moana looking for the next Kai. I found this place as a kid and I haven’t been back since but I remember seeing a school of whitebait swimming in this river and couldn’t resist the opportunity. After realising the tide had to be in to access this spot I still gave it a go.. watch and enjoy!

Kia ora everyone and welcome to another one of my videos. My son and I had an hour to kill before school on a Friday so we tried our hand at a little duck shooting. I’ve previously tried shooting ducks but have had no luck so anything would be appreciated at this stage! I dropped Karter to school and had a solo mission with only rookie mistakes and shit aiming to blame but still fun! Cheers

Back out on the water again and off to a good start for 2023. We were gifted a flat day out on the west coast with a few clouds but not to deter us. Target species today was kingfish and snapper as we have been struggling over Christmas and new years break to get a decent size snapper. I hooked a good size king a few days before so now it was the cousins turn and me on the camera. Enjoy!

Cooks Beach in the Coromandel really knows how to put it on. Took the family on a day out excursion to put a picture to all my stories I blab on about when I get home and the loved it! Even though my big young fella got the only fish, it was a stonker and the smile on his face really did it for me. Enjoy!
